rogerxp Posted June 10, 2011 Author Posted June 10, 2011 ...at least she partially cleaned my dirty alloy (see 3-6 o'clock - yes, it's rotated since)... Quote
rogerxp Posted June 10, 2011 Author Posted June 10, 2011 In fairness, she left her number, so just need to get a quote done. Quote
sparky370z Posted June 10, 2011 Posted June 10, 2011 oh well, at least they left the number. i wasnt so lucky on my mazda 6. a big scape on the rear bumper. Quote
James B Posted June 10, 2011 Posted June 10, 2011 Bad times! Glad they left their number though, I had the same thing last year except no number left and a £300 bill to pick up! Quote
daveparkin Posted June 10, 2011 Posted June 10, 2011 Glad they were honest enough to leave a number - rare thing that! Hope you get it back straight soon. Quote
Chris`I Posted June 10, 2011 Posted June 10, 2011 Sory to see that Still at least they left their number, thats not very common these days. Quote
Harman350z Posted June 10, 2011 Posted June 10, 2011 Oooosh! You are very very lucky for someone to leave their number, kudo's for them Quote
rogerxp Posted June 10, 2011 Author Posted June 10, 2011 Yeah, massively thankful, spoken to her and she was very apologetic - let's just hope this helpfulness continues once she hears the quote. There is a dent too so that's going to add to the cost. Strange things is that I'm now finding that nether Westway Nissan (Stockport or Manchester) do these repairs anymore so been pointed to a Nissan approved body-shop. I'm hoping to get there later to get the ball rolling. Maybe dealers haven't done this for years but I've never needed them, so far . Quote
Kev T Posted June 10, 2011 Posted June 10, 2011 Nice to see there are still drivers with integrity out there. Quote
370nel Posted June 10, 2011 Posted June 10, 2011 Sorry to see the damage, no fun finding your car like that, even though she's threatening to pay.. Quote
Ricey Posted June 10, 2011 Posted June 10, 2011 Well impressed that some humans still have a bit of decency about them.......still a barsteward though. Quote
Will370z Posted June 10, 2011 Posted June 10, 2011 Ouch, nasty to happen on such a nice car. Lucky the woman admitted it though and left contact details. Some arnt so lucky. Couldnt believe it 2 years ago when a bloke phoned my mum saying he wanted her insurance details because of the damage she had done to his car in safe ways. Mum said what? Turns out someone had damaged his wing and left my mums number on the windscreen. She invited him out to show him her car was untouched. Some people..... Quote
bronzee Posted June 11, 2011 Posted June 11, 2011 At least the panel isn't stoved in. He probably only did that because he saw someone watching and had to write something. Quote
