bounty78 Posted February 28, 2011 Posted February 28, 2011 What's up with some of these overpaid footballers. Lots of them have nice flash cars but they can't handle the power..and drives like idiots! It's a good thing no one was injured in this car crash..he is not the first footballer to have done that. Too much money to burn i say.. http://uk.eurosport.yahoo.com/28022011/ ... smash.html Quote
introspect Posted February 28, 2011 Posted February 28, 2011 That's about 5 min down the road from where I live, same place Ronaldo crashed his 599. Can't understand how he's managed to crash there, it's basically a straight road Unfortunately driving skill doesn't necessarily increase in line with bank balance Quote
glrnet Posted February 28, 2011 Posted February 28, 2011 In the words of M Python:- What a silly bunt!! Quote
bounty78 Posted February 28, 2011 Author Posted February 28, 2011 Unfortunately driving skill doesn't necessarily increase in line with bank balance +1..i think their head gets bigger with bigger bank balance It's OK if they want to crash and burn their car but just don't get some other innocent road users involved....it's loss of innocent lifes that annoys me most Quote
DoogyRev Posted February 28, 2011 Posted February 28, 2011 Hmmmm just after the exit of a tunnel...... I wonder what he was doing. You cant beat the sound of a fezza in second ragging it in an enclosed space Quote
bounty78 Posted February 28, 2011 Author Posted February 28, 2011 good point doogyrev...hmm..it makes sense now why they keep crashing in that same tunnel..but still no excuse..it's a straight road like introspect puts it That is poor driving on a different note, good news all round..Government to increase motorway speed limit http://uk.cars.yahoo.com/28022011/36/sp ... mph-0.html wonder if Prescott being on Top Gear yesterday has anything to do with this......who cares Quote
spursmaddave Posted February 28, 2011 Posted February 28, 2011 To be fair he did his best to get it over the wall.... Quote
geoff-r Posted February 28, 2011 Posted February 28, 2011 Footballers are a bunch of overpaid idiots anyway, sure he'll manage to buy another one out of next weeks wages Quote

GT4 Zed Posted February 28, 2011 Posted February 28, 2011 Yeah it's bloody great! Especially at night when it's empty. Does sound through there. I did that tunnel twice the day i left yours dropping the MREV2 and it was intoxicating with the K1 at full cry I can see how thing can get ugly on the transition from the tunnel to the open road due to differing grip levels. AK350Z Posted March 1, 2011 Posted March 1, 2011 Footballers are just another breed entirely! see also: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/teams/chelsea/8353469/Chelsea-must-not-kill-Ashley-Cole-for-shooting-student-with-an-air-rifle-insists-manager-Carlo-Ancelotti.html Quote
Chesterfield Posted March 1, 2011 Posted March 1, 2011 Id be suing the club and or mr cole for damages. There is no disputing it happened and no disputing that they were most probably injured. It would be no surprise to see this settled out of court for more than enough money to cover said students tuition fees. Quote
bounty78 Posted March 1, 2011 Author Posted March 1, 2011 Let's face it..it's not the first time or the last time Ashley Cole has been making headlines..footballers are all the same..why can't they be more people like Ryan Giggs, Scholes..lots of them have a lot of growing up to do and that includes Rooney ..coming from a Man United fan That's why i don't support any football players...they come and go..just because they are good it doesn't make them bigger than a club!
