Hopefully they have learnt some more about how to paint cars. Its the poor paint thats the main cause of thew stone chips

 

I'd be interested to hear whether the MY06 owners think their paint has improved any.

I think the bonnet looks awful. I just hope my Z roadster due in December does not have it. I am a bit worried now! Presumably it is due to this pedestrian legislation. The new TT bonnet looks too bulbous for the same reason. Why can't pedestrians wear rubber suits so that they bounce off our lower profile bonnets?!

Your car wont have it. It will be an 06 car. i expect announcments to be made q1 07 with vehicles arriving in q2

funnily enough, I was sifting through the couple of Z books I have today, and saw some early sketches of the 350Z.... guess what? that bonnet was already thought of! :scare:

 

really we need to consider ourselves lucky they didn't include it from the beginning :teeth:

I hope it will look better in the metal, that colour is not the best for showing off the lines. It reminds me a bit of the M3 bonnet bulge. The lack of rear spoiler doesn't do any favours either.

 

I reckon with the right bodykit, and right colour though, that bonnet may be ok :blush:
