andlid Posted October 11, 2010 Posted October 11, 2010 pf discs are class looking and peform great on track/fast road with a matched pad but think it'll be a bit pricey for you. how deep are shallow pockets? Quote
dyla350z Posted October 11, 2010 Author Posted October 11, 2010 They are deep but empty, ive only had the motor 4months & ive spent 5k on it what sort of money will decent front discs come to? Quote
Neilp Posted October 11, 2010 Posted October 11, 2010 About a grand. Don't buy ebc turbogrooved, everyone that I know up here that has them complains about the noise and aren't impressed by them. The oem brembo discs are good enough. Quote
dyla350z Posted October 11, 2010 Author Posted October 11, 2010 Thanks,i may just give it to abbey to sort out when it go's in the wk after next. Quote
Mark@Abbey m/s Posted October 11, 2010 Posted October 11, 2010 Stoptech 2 piece rotors are very good and cheaper than PFC rotor set up. I wil get some prices you lot for Stoptech stuff on here tomorrow , should be able to sort a good deal. Quote
dyla350z Posted October 11, 2010 Author Posted October 11, 2010 Ive got the pads so just disc's,Scott rang and im booked in on the 25th,thanks Garry. Quote
Vik54 Posted October 11, 2010 Posted October 11, 2010 But look how purty the PF discs are and sorry Neily but I don't know where on earth you're getting a figure of £1k just for front rotors from? PF come in at around £550 IIRC Even adding lines and fluid you're only looking at an extra £60 for HEL or £120 for goodridge Quote
Neilp Posted October 11, 2010 Posted October 11, 2010 Ah I thought it was 550 a side! Is that the pair vik? Quote

ZMANALEX Posted October 11, 2010 Posted October 11, 2010 Performance Friction Rotors available here. viewtopic.php?f=157&t=27437 I have run with both the Performance Friction and the Stoptech rotors and I must say that I definately prefer the Performance Friction. Quote
Steady Zeddy Posted October 11, 2010 Posted October 11, 2010 I fitted the PF rotors (and DS2500 pads) from Alex recently and ran them on a trackday and the difference over my standard rotors (with 80% Endless Pads) was quite remarkable. Fantastic upgrade for the Zed and well worth the money. Quote
Greekman Posted October 11, 2010 Posted October 11, 2010 cant comment on stoptech as i v never tried them. PF are the only ones that lasted long enough to have a visible lip...and no judder at all!!! noisy yes but thats prob because of my pads. as for ebc, brembo, dixcel and those australian ones (cant remember the name) the PF ones are way ahead. i v tried the rest Quote
