The main purpose was of the holiday was of course Drinking Oh sorry I meant cars We went to watch the F1 Monza grand prix, sorted the grandstand tickets @ Ascari before we went which was a good shout as it was totally full on the Saturday & Sunday, I could be here all-day writing about it but everyone knows a picture can say a thousand words, or somthing like that The essentials: To the circuit The gorgeous SLS amg The sports bus Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

It was time to head from Milan to Rome and what better way to travel than via a hire car, (everyone knows that nothing handles like a rental) So we hired ourselves a Lancia Delta Integrale & set about our 750km rally, I mean cruise The high powered 2litre turbo charged engine provided plenty of power through the twistys of the mountains the free reving engine allowed us to get the power down early out of the bends And Maggie kept us heading in the right direction, hot women & cold beer, I mean Roma The Inegrale ploughed past the Jap crap so called sports cars Even the brittish ones didnt stand a chance We then thought we had met our match, an old school fiat 500 with flames on the bonnet, but the torque just pulled us through The soft compound tyres helped with the high speed bends But you cant beat the sound through a tunnel at warp speed We even overtook the euro star We got to Roma in record time, When in Roma amongst all the drinking we did find time to have a peek at some of the sights I meant the historic ones All this hidtory, time for a beer Managed to hire some wheels in the park And finally yes Italian women are beautiful, Mike found his new love, I think she was brittish These are just a mere few of the photos taken, Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
