dcash5 Posted July 27, 2010 Posted July 27, 2010 As some of you know from my previous threads I have bolted on a new set of wheels onto the zed but as always I wanted to push the boundaries and get the wheels sitting flushed on the body work. understandably this caused some rubbing on the rear lips. Therefore ArchEnemy was called upon. Paul Arrived this morning and set about work. After talking through what I wanted to achieve he set about tackling the lips. Basically I wanted the lips as flush as possible so I could look to get the backend as close to the tyre as possible. So before ... (you can see where the tyre was rubbing slightly. The arch tool in place. commencing work Closer Closer still DONE Looking from ground up Resealed Job done Cheers Paul, would fully recommend arch enemy to anyone in the future... top job Dan Quote
MattMe Posted July 27, 2010 Posted July 27, 2010 How does this not damage the paint. Or does it? Quote
dcash5 Posted July 27, 2010 Author Posted July 27, 2010 The paint is heated to make it more flexible ... its a long old job probs 2.5hours to do both rear arches . Think its just safe and steady. Quote
tez162003 Posted July 27, 2010 Posted July 27, 2010 i'll be needing this soon. i too plan on pushing the limits of stance. nice to see a recommendation. How much did i cost if you dont mind me asking? But saying that, whats wrong with the good old fashioned scaffold pole between the arch and wheel lol Quote
dcash5 Posted July 27, 2010 Author Posted July 27, 2010 Be interested to see your pushing the boundaries of stance, what are your plans? Cost me £80 for the work Quote

webber Posted July 28, 2010 Posted July 28, 2010 Looks like a really good job Can you not tell that it has been done at all when you look at it? I always feared that either the paint would be damaged or there may be some slight warping to the arch shape or something like that Quote
