Although, that does includ a pressure washer and snow foam lance which knocks it down by just over £100! even so, £200 on cleaning products! My kit now contains: Karcher pressure washer Snow foam lance 5l snow foam megs detailing brush dodo juice swabs 4l megs all purpose cleaner dodo juice lime prime dodo juice red mist dodo juice mellow yellow wheel cleaner dodo juice metal polish megs water magnet drying towel some other drying towel which will be used for the wheels tons of microfibre cloths about half a dozen applicator pads megs wax (cant remember which one) megs wash mitt couple of buckets megs car shampoo rain-x and some spray bottles!!! My girlfriend is gonna kill me! hopefully though most of that should last a good while. didnt realise there was so much choice available! not good for a spend-a-holic like me! wouldn't care, but it isn't even my car Is there anything i am missing from my list, i hope not! That lot should last you a good couple of years before needing to replace stuff (bar snow foam). Wasso Posted June 29, 2010 Share Posted June 29, 2010 I purchased the "Supernatural" wax at the Wales meet - I walked in the dinning area and my other half looked at me and said what's that I replied "Hair Gel" - as it was in a pot very similar. Had she of known that it was for the car and cost £60 I'd be given a To date she doesn't know the cost I have to agree the cost of cleaning a car is very expensive.... let me know how the snow foam goes as I have a Karcher kit and quite keen to see how it performs! mrobinson2 Posted June 29, 2010 Author Share Posted June 29, 2010 And you have a grey car so will still look like its in primer now that's not very nice we originally were looking for the azure blue, but they seemed to be out of our price range for a car with higher mileage, the gm one was a bargain at what we got it for so we are over the moon. never had a grey car before and always said i never would, but it doesnt half shine when it's clean! this was taken 2 weeks after i detailed it. I spend £130 the other month on wax, polish, clay bar and applicators/mit/towels etc. but my car's never shined so much, and the supernatural will ast me years. tez162003 Posted June 29, 2010 Share Posted June 29, 2010 a decent wax?? meguires dont seem to be capable of making a good wax imo, im a big fan of hard waxes. can never have too many micro fibres, costco's the way too go for that. ez detail wheel brush. clay as previously said Megsuires pro range Last Touch just buy it. best thing i have. grit guards. a degresser. leather cleaner and conditioner? leather permitting. and next jump... a machine polisher, with tons of pads. tons of polishes, decent backing pad, 500w lighting, and a crap load of patience. I bought bulk stuff so it should last me. its the accessories that cost me the money. i bought a snow lance/pressure washer/alsorts of brushes/applicator pads/swabs/towels/drying cloths! it all adds up! I know you can dilute it 1:1 for clay lube. I use born slippy concentrate.
