BladesGrant Posted June 18, 2010 Posted June 18, 2010 Just had a little work done to make my engine bay look a little cleaner and thought I would share with you all. I have basically had my plenum and throttle body painted to match my K&N Typhoon kit. I didn't like that the throttle body broke up the colour. Here is the result: Looks loads better imo. Hope you like. Grant Quote

BladesGrant Posted June 18, 2010 Author Posted June 18, 2010 Cheers mate. CS sorted this out for me and I believe he will be offering the service as an exchange one to have them sprayed as a pair in what ever colour you like. Sure Mitz will be along shortly to confirm the service though. Quote

clarkie34 Posted June 18, 2010 Posted June 18, 2010 I thought painting or polishing the throttle body caused problems. Looks good though. Quote
BladesGrant Posted June 18, 2010 Author Posted June 18, 2010 I thought painting or polishing the throttle body caused problems. Looks good though. As long as its masked off properly you shouldn't have any problems. You aren't affecting anything inside so spraying the outside doesn't harm it. Where the rubber seal to the intake is isn't actually painted so the paint hasn't gone anywhere near the butter fly opening, you can just cover that up with the rubber seal. Quote
