My day at Stonehall Farm....

Went there to have some UpRev tuning done, after hearing all the happy Zed owners that had the work done.

Getting prepped for dyno work

Once all hooked up, the serious work starts...

This looks far too technical to me...(and blurry, lol)

Then some runs

With the ECU flashed, we moved on to the other job I was booked in for.

On the ramp she goes

Hang on....something is missing here...

Oh, there it is!

This is whats going to replace the OEM springs

While taking the photo of the spring, a forum members car is driven into the workshop

Gotta love that INGS+1 carbon wing.....one day maybe.....one day

Anyways, while I'm drooling away at that, Simon, the suspension guru at Abbey gives me this to take a picture of

ams013.jpg

It was rather busy in the workshop, so I actually missed atking a pic of the front shock re-install, so this will have to do, lol

When I say busy, then I mean they were working on some sort of 350Z.....you might have heard of it.....Project Zed ring any bells? :bleh:

Anyways, back to my car.

Old rear spring

New rear spring

Afterwards all that was left was to align the tracking

Finally, here is the car before the mild drop

How she sits now

The car is fantastic to drive in the lower gears, and the response has improved too.

For someone that has never had a car reflashed and didn't know what possible difference it could make, I was very very impressed.

Big thanks go to:

Mark Gillam - For doing the UpRev tuning and explaining how stuff worked

Simon Edwards - For sorting the suspension out

William & Micheal - For introducing me to Monster Energy Drink (yellow)

And everybody else for being really friendly, even tho they had cars in that needed to be raceprepped ready for the weekend (Team Lizard Racing, Project Zed)

Thank you all

Were you there when the brekkie wagon turned up mark? And did Mark / Tony / Scott / Will etc happen to forget their wallets? ;)

Hope Sarah looked after you with the tea and coffee all day too.

Great people!! :)

PS Stance looks LOADS better ;)

Well, it was a really busy day, what with Team Lizard and bramsracing needing their cars prepped for the weekend.

Tony made me a nice cuppa first thing (originally turned up at 6am, cos I thought it was further away, drove back to Clacket Lane for brekkie, then got back about 7:30, just about stopped at the closed gate when Tony rolled up behind me)

Tony is as friendly as they get and before going to the office, he opened the workshop door instead and showed me Project Zed

Then gradually the rest started to show up.

The lunch wagon did show up and I had a nice bacon sausage baguette, I guess everybody was so busy that they forgot to forget their wallets

Was a sunny day, and I only really drank water, but then William asked me if I wanted a Monster Energy Drink, seeing as the sponsor gave them some free cans. :)

After I had left, I got a call from Scott, telling me that they forgot to give back my locking nut key and asked where to send it.

Key shows up today, less than 24 hours, that's what I call service!!!

Great day out

*Ninja edit with name change, sorry Scott*
