cant believe it sold so quickly mate.. i can remember the last time u put it up and it never got any interest, i bet u wish that happened this time round... all the best mate, ill keep an eye on her for u in glasgow!!

If you go 996, can you come back and tell us how many miles the engine had done when it does a Will Smith?? (goes tick tick tick tick, BOOM!) ;):headhurt::p

^^^^ Yep, do lots of research on the 996 engine before you even *think* of buying one! Zentrum Porsche (indy specialists) in Calverton, Notts are very good to chat to. 996 engine isnt totally un-reliable, but if it decides to go pop it will cost $$$$

 

Isn't Marzman an anagram of "Going to buy a 370 next" ? :thumbs:

Heh heh... not a fan of the 370 yet - its a bit too lardy.

 

I was totally unaware of bad engines in the 996's... guess it'll be another zed after all :yahoo:

A good friend had one go pop. It took a LOT of work getting Porsche to do anything.

 

Agree there - im not the type of person to buy something without knowing all the details first... so i wouldnt have just gone and bought one with out due diligence so to speak. Useful links though, i'll have a read cheers Rob.

lol, i was showing the new owner the magazine yesterday stan! :D Ahh the memories...

 

In in relation to sticking around here... i've probably posted more in the last 2 days than i have in the last 2 months - i've gt withdrawal symptoms... :lol:
