350Z and speed humps

Hi,

 

New to the forum and zed ownership. Will be collecting mine in a few days and can't wait, but did wonder about speed humps.

 

Can the 350 negotiate speed humps without any drama?

i have had mine since friday and there are a lot of speed humps round me, no problems so far.

If its lowered you might have issues, I have standard and have not had any issues........ just go steady over them

Great - And that includes new / pronounced speed bumps too?

 

Near where I work there's a large-ish speed bump, it's not on my crital path mind, just to McD's

I love speed bumps, makes the Zed look like an old F1 car

most of the ones round me are the stupid ones, 3 humps across the width of the road.

 

zed is standard and she glides over them no worries

How would you know you dont even have a Zed

No probs with mine and i have an ings +1 front bumper and as danny will agree the bumps around mine are monsters !

to the forum, plenty of us noobs around! Speed humps are no trouble it's the deep dark holes all over the UK roads you want to worry about!

Im lowered on eibachs and speed bumps are a big no no.

It's not the speed bumps I fear it's the bloody potholes!

pot holes = fine

 

pot holes in front of speed bumps =

 

i'm not lowered but run a nismo n1 front usually fine but had the above situation once in a very bad slip road off the a14 to a service station.

 

if your lowered and kitted it can be a nightmare.

 

tomtom really need to release a modders nav, that routes you around and away from speed bumps

I'm lowered on cusco coilovers and can get over most bumps aslong as i'm doing about 2mph & angled It really annoys the people behind me though

Do do you mean angled I have tried most ways and it always scrapes so I just avoid them. The only ones I can get over is the one on each side and I drive in the middle.

I still scrape them but I can get over them. I've given up caring about the scrapes now, I scraped my lip the first day I fitted it getting off my driveway so after that i'm not too bothered

Good idea, I still avoid speedbumps plus it gives me an excuse not to see people

Mine is stock and they are no issue for me!
