alessandro Posted December 15, 2009 Posted December 15, 2009 It might be another silly question but, tonight I played around with the settings for the rpm and noticed that you can change the limit on those, ie. originally was set on 6500 and change it to 4500, will this limit the revs to 4500 or it's only an indicator for the warning light? If this really limit the revs what is the best setting to have it on? ( I normally don't pass the 4000 anyway ) Thanks Quote
Chris`I Posted December 15, 2009 Posted December 15, 2009 Its purely for the shift light, not the actual rev limit. I set mine to 6200RPM knowing that is about the time I need to shift before hitting the rev limiter when gunning it Quote

yokomo Posted December 15, 2009 Posted December 15, 2009 dont ever buy a v tec honda then as they dont even kick in til 6.5 k ! mostly i keep mine below 3k for normal driving as like a decent range out of the tank but you gotta give it some beans when theres room every no and again or liek thr rest said ther eno point in having the power (not good for the engine either to never stretch its legs) Quote
