gray1st Posted December 4, 2009 Author Posted December 4, 2009 Thanks for the advice, I've seen this one below. Not specified if it is a UK Spec but does say its a GT, and I can't see a rear spoiler on the pics. Anyone with a keener eye, possibly shed some light? http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/200948347264989/sort/priceasc/usedcars/make/nissan/model/350_z/page/1/quicksearch/true/postcode/cw113nn/radius/40?previous=%2Fsearch%2Fresults%2Fusedcars%2Fpostcode%2Fcw113nn%2Fradius%2F40%2Fmake%2Fnissan%2Fmodel%2F350_z%2Fpage%2F1%2Fsort%2Fpriceasc%2Fquicksearch%2Ftrue&anchor=advert200948347264989&logcode=p Quote
cookiemonster Posted December 4, 2009 Posted December 4, 2009 Well it looks like a GT as the plates are rectangular and not square, but i thought all GT spec had cruise control? The price is good but doesnt say anything about the service history, just thats it there Not all the GT models came with a spoiler, the kits an opptional extra. Quote
alessandro Posted December 4, 2009 Posted December 4, 2009 Welcome As per other said, lots of info on here and take your time Quote
Stew Posted December 4, 2009 Posted December 4, 2009 That one is an import by the looks of it. No Lip Spoiler, no steering wheel controls etc. Quote
nurrish Posted December 4, 2009 Posted December 4, 2009 +1 Looks like a sheep in wolf's clothing Quote
witstu Posted December 4, 2009 Posted December 4, 2009 Definately looks like a BITSA. If it was a GT it would have all the radio control buttons and cruise control on the steering wheel. Quote
ATTAK Z Posted December 4, 2009 Posted December 4, 2009 Definately looks like a BITSA. If it was a GT it would have all the radio control buttons and cruise control on the steering wheel. +1 also the belts have a red tinge on my screen - strange Quote
gray1st Posted December 4, 2009 Author Posted December 4, 2009 Thanks for coming back to me guys! I thought it was quite cheap looking at the pics and mileage. I did call and ask about service history on the car and they got a little cagey when I quized them further on it. Sorry, I've got to ask, what is BITSA? Also, anyone looking at this who has a good example which they are perhaps looking at selling please let me know Quote

sunset350z Posted December 4, 2009 Posted December 4, 2009 that is an import, and it seems like they are trying to disguise the fact for whatever reason. Best to stay clear as it may off had rear end damage due to the bumper being UK spec. Also a lot of imports want have much or any history, so this could have been written off in Japan and brought over here to be repaired. Quote
gray1st Posted December 6, 2009 Author Posted December 6, 2009 Thanks for all your advice, being a relative "newbie" to 350z's it's great to get advice from those who have a passion for the car. I've noticed a couple below on autotrader, be really interested in getting peoples' opinions. http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/ ... &logcode=p http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/ ... &logcode=p http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/ ... &logcode=p http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/ ... &logcode=p Quote
gray1st Posted December 6, 2009 Author Posted December 6, 2009 I've got to agree, just looked over them again, I missed that the 2nd was a CAT C (thought it was cheap). The 3rd one, very low mileage . Can someone tell me if all GT's come with leater seats? As that one has fabric seats Quote
Ian Posted December 6, 2009 Posted December 6, 2009 All GTs have leather seats. Also Keighly trade centre have a shocking reputation for the cars that they sell Quote
sunset350z Posted December 6, 2009 Posted December 6, 2009 1st one looks like a bargain, well worth checking out. 2nd one cat c and not cheap for its history 3rd one non gt so no cruise or leather, but nice low miles. 4th one is the going price and looks the safest bet of the 4. Quote
gray1st Posted December 7, 2009 Author Posted December 7, 2009 Looking to spend up to 12k. GT Pack, UK Car, and Ideally don't want mileage too high. Quote
gray1st Posted December 7, 2009 Author Posted December 7, 2009 Too good to be true?? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Nissan-350Z_W0QQitemZ320453232043QQcmdZViewItemQQptZAutomobiles_UK?hash=item4a9c8045ab Reading the listing, It's not mentioned of it being a GT...omitted accidentally? I've e-mailed asking if it were a UK model, and he has confirmed Quote
Ebized Posted December 7, 2009 Posted December 7, 2009 Too good to be true?? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Nissan-350Z_W0QQitemZ320453232043QQcmdZViewItemQQptZAutomobiles_UK?hash=item4a9c8045ab Reading the listing, It's not mentioned of it being a GT...omitted accidentally? I've e-mailed asking if it were a UK model, and he has confirmed It is a GT and a UK car. That does seem a bargain - 1 owner and it has the optional alezan leather (not cloth as stated) but not sure if it is Gunmetal (grey) or Blade (which is silver). It also has the Rays wheels which were optional at the time. Certainly worth a look I'd say - just make sure you get the history checked and no recorded accident damage and if your not mechanically minded have a report done - 72k miles is no big deal if properly serviced so check the extenst of the service history - better to be safe than sorry. Good luck Quote
