Brett350z Posted September 1, 2009 Posted September 1, 2009 Hi all Finally picked up my 350z last week, just a few pics after a clay, polish and a wax. Looking to get a megs g220 on it soon but am happy with the results so far, very glad I made the decision of azure blue, can't beat the shine when the suns out. Car is great to drive, not quite so tight and precise as my type r used to be but it does lots of things better thats for sure, phomenial grip for one! Love the sound of the thing, but cant help feel I need to hear it a little more, K1 on the way me thinks!! Enjoy.... Pics of the Type R: Quote
MAYHEW820 Posted September 1, 2009 Posted September 1, 2009 Nice example mate, much te same as my wife's. Megs G220 is a great piece of kit. Couple that with some 3M and Menz Compounds & Polish it will come up the business. You will find the colour will be much richer than you have at present. Takes a lot of time doing 3-4 stages but only has to be done the once to that level and this colour will give you a lot in return. Good luck wit your 350 Quote
UNABASHED Posted September 1, 2009 Posted September 1, 2009 I just made the same jump from CTR to Azure Blue Z! Completely different animal, gone is the manic screeming as you accelerate but I must admit I love the V6 growl. The gearing and grip makes the most difference I think. Quote
Maccaman Posted September 1, 2009 Posted September 1, 2009 I always used to think the blue did nothing for the Zed but have definitely changed my mind over the years. Very good example you have got yourself Quote
Hamster Posted September 1, 2009 Posted September 1, 2009 Nice - I too took the step from Type-R to Z only 6 months ago! Seems to be a common stepping stone I haven't stopped grinning since Quote
M13KYF Posted September 1, 2009 Posted September 1, 2009 very tidy get some good wax and paint sealant on and the colour will start to deepen and begin to look like mine Quote
richt Posted September 1, 2009 Posted September 1, 2009 So that's what a clean one looks like! Very nice. Quote
clarkie34 Posted September 1, 2009 Posted September 1, 2009 Once you get it machine polished and get a couple of layers of wax on you will see how deep the paint looks, also will look really wet. Quote
Stew Posted September 2, 2009 Posted September 2, 2009 Another Azure home detailer here! Looking good, a machine polisher will improve the finish further! Quote
