I was going to get a set of the new Rota GTRs but then I saw these on My350z.com and thought they'd be a much better match for the body kit I've ordered from Envy. They haven't been brought into the UK before so I had to ask for these to be specially ordered for me. To be honest I didn't think Ben would go for it so I was gobsmacked when he agreed. They're currently offered in the US in 19x8.5 ET30 front and 19x9.5 ET30 rear in Hyper Silver with a polished lip. Suffice to say the pics above are with spacers. Ben said that as they were a special order I could specifiy the colour, offset and size. So I've asked for 19x9 Front with ET20 offset and 19x10 Rear with ET20 offset, basically the same as the new GTRs as I love the way they sit in the arches. In terms of colour I've gone for "Matte Steel Grey" with a polished lip. Here's how the "Matte Steel Grey" looks: http://www.wheeldude.com/gallery2/d/961 ... 790_03.jpg I'm not sure if the polished lips will be even bigger on the ones I've ordered or if the extra width will be on the inner edge of the rim. Either way I can't wait to get them! Unfortunately it's going to be 12-16 weeks for them to turn up due to the fact they're custom made but Rarerims are bringing an additional 4 sets into the country in the same fitment. I'm not sure if the colours will be the same but if anyone else wants a set of these and you're quick you might be able to have them made in a colour of your choice. So you could end up with a set of wheels no-one else in the world has! Cost? Less than £1500 delivered fitted with brand new Falken FK452s! I think that includes wheels nuts too, although I'm not sure if that includes a set of locking wheel nuts. I'd just like to say I'm not affiliated with Rarerims, I just wanted to let people know about a new wheel on the scene and say thanks to Ben for sorting this for me. MattG Posted August 11, 2009 Author Share Posted August 11, 2009 Forgot to mention, the currently available wheels weigh in at 24.7lbs Front & 25.3lbs Rear. The guys at RareRims were'nt able to supply me the colour i wanted as it was USA market only, so i had to import them myself. I went for the Rota Grid Drifts in Hyper Black though.
