its got 200psi on 5 cyclinders 180 on the 6th, turbos have just been rebuilt as this was thought to be the original fault thoughts now are that the engine is pressurising the oil system pushing the oil out of the turbo seals as there is oil in the intercooler and pipework?

what are your thoughts?

My thoughts are as I have stated previously

What you have there are cyl compression readings which are of no relevance to your issues.

A Cylinder Leakage Test will identify any internal issues partaining to the above but my guess is that there is piston damage caused by det.

doesn't list a true dual exhaust, that won't have helped the situation...

Are you about to quote a 2 and half year old thread? ;)

ehm, no, but any FI application for the Zed "requires" a true dual exhaust to reduce back pressure and heat build up.

+1......True Dual took 10 degrees off mine.

I would still be very interested in what the previous owner has to say,

Well done Sherlock. Is suspect that as an ex-owner this might be the last thing he wants to get into.

As long as he sold it in working condition or informed the buyer of the problems it had, he has nothing to worry about

Quite right but if I were him I'd probably have better things to do than open myself up to a quizzing on here.
