ZMANALEX Posted June 22, 2009 Posted June 22, 2009 its got 200psi on 5 cyclinders 180 on the 6th, turbos have just been rebuilt as this was thought to be the original fault thoughts now are that the engine is pressurising the oil system pushing the oil out of the turbo seals as there is oil in the intercooler and pipework?what are your thoughts? My thoughts are as I have stated previously What you have there are cyl compression readings which are of no relevance to your issues. A Cylinder Leakage Test will identify any internal issues partaining to the above but my guess is that there is piston damage caused by det. Alex. Quote
Chris`I Posted June 22, 2009 Posted June 22, 2009 If it were me and Alex was warning me off it, I'd stay well away Quote

ZMANALEX Posted June 22, 2009 Posted June 22, 2009 I would still be very interested in what the previous owner has to say, Quote
ZMANALEX Posted June 23, 2009 Posted June 23, 2009 doesn't list a true dual exhaust, that won't have helped the situation... Are you about to quote a 2 and half year old thread? ehm, no, but any FI application for the Zed "requires" a true dual exhaust to reduce back pressure and heat build up. +1......True Dual took 10 degrees off mine.
