Problem with the old exhaust

Had to cut a hole into the black bracket thing, so that one hanger could pass thru it and have enough play all round

It might be worth mentioning that a little mishap occured where the sparks actually caught fire on the plastic guard bit that hides where the petrol filler neck overflow is.

The whole garage mentioned that they have never seen that mechanic run that fast EVER!

He grabbed a spray bottle of water and put the fire out, no damage sustained to the Zed.

 

On idle, it sounds stock, but according to Ray, whilst driving, you hardly hear it on the inside, so good for long motorway trips.

But it does have a roar in it too, should you decide to punish the loud pedal.

I've been looking at these exhausts, definately like the idea of the stock look I just think it's a shame they have included a little resonator in the mid pipe. I think if it had of been a straight piece of pipe like the scorpion it may be a little louder.

 

I'm curious to what it sounds like compared to stock under load??
