  3. NOW SOLD Here I have for sale my old JWT Pop Charger complete with metal heat shield. It was fitted to a 2005 car and gave a nice deep roar! Plus with the aluminium velocity stack and dual cone design of the filter it is probably one of the most efficient open type air filters available. It had previously been cleaned not long ago and then lightly oiled with a k&n filter cleaning kit and ran for a few hundered more miles on my car before I removed it to sell the car. The chrome is also in good condition and the kit comes with required bolts/bracket and a print out of the instructions. (It's really easy to fit anyway!) It simply bolts to your MAF tube and is supported with a bracket. Everything needed to fit it is included. SOLD to jhobbs90 £65 Delivered in the UK. Please see photos below. Cheers

  6. NOW SOLD Removed from my car as no longer needed. This 380RS accelerator pedal is a direct swap for the 350z pedal. (there's a guide on this forum...a 5 minute job) That bit of extra meat on the side makes it so much easier to heel and toe should you wish. £ sold to Jetpilot Thanks Spen
  7. Had this occur on mine the other week. Followed the guide and job done it's sorted it so thanks. Just work on the headunit on a nice big table and lay everything our neatly as you remove it. I just sat the screws at the side of each part I removed so I knew where they went back.
  8. I seem to get flywheel chatter as I pull off in first. Would that get more noticeable with a old worn clutch?
  9. My car is 2005 and unless I'm imagining it the steering stiffens up at about 30mph regardless of revs.
  10. Nice one Jim, glad you sorted it. On the Inside with a single piece of insulating tape attatched to the strut bar. On the outside, a single 10mm diameter Neodymium magnet (very strong! ) attached to the camera with some insulating tape which also protects the paint! I hate the wind noise. Generally for recording these days I use a seperate microphone mounted elsewhere but I just wanted to show that as a rear facing or cockpit camera it isn't too bad I did try attaching it to the bonnet and thought...hmm it doesn't stick and promptly remembered.......aluminium!
  11. Jim, make sure the sd card is formatted as Fat32. Insert the card and don't power on the camera. Plug it in and the orange light should come on. Don't press anything and you should see the drive pop up on your computer. When you unplug the camera the orange light will be lit . Holding the power button (bottom button) for 3 seconds turns the camera off. Hold it for another 3 seconds to turn it on. Recording is done by turning it on and then holding the top button for 3 seconds the orange light should blink quickly and then go out, this indicates it is recording. Press the top button once and the orange light will come back on to indicate recording has stopped. If you are still struggling try inserting a pin in the reset hole with the camera on, it is on the left side near to the usb connector.
  12. yeah, and bare in mind that was at about 8 o clock. Funny time to be sitting there I'd say! usually they are around on my way home from work. Typical as well because I wanted to give it a little poke just to see how good the mic picked up the sound from the cabin!!
  13. Hey all, Recieved my camera yesterday so made a quick vid for you to see quality and sound. Bare in mind at the time of the video it was starting to get dark around 8pm. I think the quality is pretty good considering! The video states it's 720x480 but you will see it looks squashed. I converted it to 640x480 which corrects the aspect. Youtube kills the quality a little on top as it makes it even smaller but it gives you an idea! Here is the little blighter: Here is a screengrab untouched at the 720x480 (slightly squashed resolution) as I came out of work today, and yes someone who works at my place also has a Z in the same colour but his is 06 and mine 05 and I had mine first!! And here is the sample video. nothing fancy and shot in fairly low light so I'm happy with the quality for the size. It is comparible to my lipstick/bullet camera that cost me just over £60 If you want to check out one of my other videos you will see the £60 bullet camera shot from the side of the car to compare quality: thanks to IanS16 for the heads up on these cameras!
  14. Out of interest, what did you do to stop them from getting any worse? Is it caused purely by dirt getting into the seals?
  15. Yep, would be nice on a trackday to have them set up like that and perhaps one inside or one pointing at the clocks.
  16. Thanks for that, I saw that info and just thought it was for setting the correct time. Cheers
  17. I have some scratching on my drivers side too. I've tried the t cut glass polish and found it only removed some of the lighter scratches. I must admit I havn't tried some on the rotary yet I only did it by hand so I will be giving it a go.
  18. Thanks for sharing, These look great, I've done a fair amount of car recording over the last 2 years. bought myself a decent suction mount so I could use a full size dv camera on the car and I've played with bullet (lipstick) cameras stuck to the car as well. I must say the footage on these is not bad at all for the price. I'm going to get a couple because you can never have enough angles covered!! Can anyone confirm if it's possible to remove the date and time and not have it displayed at all?
  19. I got the tin Blu-ray version of BOB from play for £17.49 - Bargain as it was £50-£60 not so long ago. the pacific looks great but I don't have sky and I'm not giving them any of my money so I'll have to wait
  20. I have a nitro, Kyosho V-One SII with a supra shell. Pretty rapid car, a lot quicker than my friends HPI nitro with skyline shell (until he got his 2 speed gears - Left him standing but then he'd just fly by ) When they are set up perfectly mixture wise they run great only suffering from running a little rough sometimes with the body on in hot weather. If the mixture/idle is out by a little amount you can find yourself starting it, fitting the body and within 20 seconds it's died...off comes body and start again! which can become a pain. Also if it's not right you'll find it bogging down higher up the revs or running too lean and overheating. We used to take ours to some empty car parks that were nice and flat. Even fitting LED lights at one point (Sounds corny but they looked awesome at night!) I wanted mine as I'm a bit of a gadget nut and also wanted to modify it, and like stripping it down to clean it and stuff. Most of the time it just sits in the garage now since it's virtually impossible to use it on the grass. I'd say go for one second hand initially, just keep your eye out for a decent one. Then if you really get into them sell it and buy yourself something even better.
