jamesyj Posted May 29, 2009 Posted May 29, 2009 Oo er! For some reason I have it in my head that the gearknob I'm looking for should be an 12mm? Should I be looking for an 10mm? I would just like some clarification. I have a UK 55 plate. Innuendo welcome! Quote

Stew Posted May 29, 2009 Posted May 29, 2009 You want a magnifying glass to look for your 10mm shaft? You'll need tweazers too I guess! Quote
jamesyj Posted May 29, 2009 Author Posted May 29, 2009 I've searched high and low, all over this forum. Still no joy as to whether my shaft is 10mm or 12mm... Just seeing if someone knew so I didn't have to get in the car, start faffing with the knob etc. Quote

I think that's what stuck in the back of my mind that made me think it's a 12mm. There does seem to be a bit of confusion about peoples shaft sizes. Or perhaps Nissan thought some people simply couldn't manage a 12mm and so they downsized to a more manageable girth of shaft? I've just measured mine all scientifically with a caliper and everything, 10mm. I do love innuendo Quote
Grantmitchell Posted May 29, 2009 Posted May 29, 2009 I have it on good authority (well it cost me a donation to the raffle of the century) that the shaft is.... 10mm x 1.25 thread so it appears your vernier has allowed you to come up with the correct answer Quote
