Hi all, first post!

Picking up my car in the next week or so, brilliant :)

As a bit of an ipod fiend I was really dissapointed to find that the Bose system doesn't have an auxilary input (it's got a cassette player for goodness sake).

Anyway, have decided to go the FM modulator path to make the best of a bad job. I know I can modify the unit but as it's a lease car I don't really want to fidde with it too much. I will need to access the aerial though in order to fit the modulator. Do I have to pull the unit out of the dash to get at the aerial? If so is it reasonably easy?

Thankyou in advance for any info about this,

Simon

Hi & :welcome: to the forum. You will be joining a very big group of people disappointed with the lack of Ipod connection with the Bose. Do a search in the Ice section, otherwise I'm sure someone ill be along soon to give you advice.

Hi and welcome to the forum. Yes the cassette player is a little 70

Will move this to the intro section so we dont miss it.

Have a trawl though the ICE section as Maccaman says. Look forward to some pics when it arrives. What are you getting.

Hi Simon :welcome:

You don't need to pull the Bose, just the centre console. It's very easy, allow 60 mins to pull it out and put it back although once you have done it, it only takes about 15 mins!

You need a 15cm blade X-head screwdriver, preferably with a magnetic tip.
