Lexx Posted October 15, 2008 Author Posted October 15, 2008 Cheers for the welcomes The 2 nr death experiances: 1/ Whilst the shore crane was lowering a hatchlid back onto the boat, one side of its wire brakes failed, and the lid slewed round violently, missing me and one of the stevedores by about 3 ft. That shook me up quite a bt 2/ The day I was getting off! Tieing the ship up in Thamesport, my relief had charge and I was just helping the AB's. Relief wasnt watching what he was doing and continued heaving on the wrong winch.Mooing line parted and snapped back, missed my righ arm by mere inches. There are days my job sucks. Quote
