Issue with Morimoto Headlights.

Guys I've got an issue with my passenger front Morimoto headlight.

On dipped beam all three lights have stopped working (Occasionally the middle light will come on) but both top and bottom lights have stopped working. When I turn the lights off so just run the daylight strip, the middle bulb constantly flickers on and off....

 

Any ideas? 

I think they are just out of warranty them being just over 3 years old

That’s doesn’t sound good at all. You are better off contacting the supplier just in case they can do something for you. Sounds like the led has given up the ghost.

LEDs are meant to last over 50,000 up to 100,000 hours or something. 3 years seems like new age tech bs

Maybe check the pin's in connection blocks/plug's

Even though its been 3 yrs if they are only just out of cover, i'd bet if you contact Mori they would likely help out 👍

I have checked the connections and they look fine. I bought them from Torqen 

I've emailed Morimoto with the issue and we'll see what they come back with. But you don't expect headlights to fail like this in just 3 years. They are meant to be good for a lot longer than that.

If you purchased these from TORQEN, they are NOT Morimoto lights, you will see on the original boxes they are TORQEN and have serial numbers on them and the boxes so we can track them down. Lights like any other products come with 1 year warranty, so yes, they are out of warranty. These are made by the exact same factory as the ones produced for Morimoto. 

That being said, it's probably the controller on the lamp being faulty, not the LEDs. Drop us an email so we can look into it and suggest some fixes.
