link g4x map for a boosted 350z

Hi all, Sorry if this is in the worry section but i'm a newbie and this was the only one i though might be right, so i have for the best part boosted my z, still a few bits to finish up.

I've also forged the engine and am running a link G4X ecu, my question is does anyone have a map for a boosted 350z with said ecu as i will need to drive the car to the tuners when the time comes. any help is much appreciated. Lee

There is also a general topic section and also a technical but yeah right section, but anyway response to your question, you should be fine to drive it a short way without doing anything dreadful however where is your nearest mapper/ selected?

Disconnect the waste gate arms so you cannot make boost during the drive, reduces any risk to practically zero.

I'm hoping to get it done at Abbey Motorsport which is about 45 minutes to an hour away, will this be OK?

it has a n external wastegate with scream pipe so cant disconnect nothing, i could take the spring out but that's gonna be kinda loud lol

I’ll say no on that one mate, as Ekona said try to disconnect/ immobilise the turbo to reduce any possible damage, problem is if you drive it over there you’ll be running it incredibly lean

Tbh if you totally stay off boost then you’ll be fine, just baby it there.

My only other problem is it has 1000cc injectors, will these be OK to drive all that way? sorry for all the stupid questions it's just I've put a lot of money in to it and don't want to break it before i even get going lol

Can Abbey not collect it for you on a transporter? Or book one yourself? Can't cost that much surely? All things considered

kieran o'quick i think that mite be the best option , i was more hoping to get some kind of base map to make sure everything was working kinda right before i get it towed there and them say this cant be done lol

Good point. You haven't turned the key yet then I've just realised. Could be a couple of trips if you've missed anything then

If you’ve spent the money and done the work don’t take the risk mate, trailer hire shouldn’t be dreadful for a piece of mind,

I've used Prodriver to move cars for me a few times, might be worth seeing if them or someone similar can just transport it for you, just to be on the safe side?

Yer i think i'm going to get it transported there, i don't think i'd forgive myself if it went wrong and i'm pretty sure the wife would throw me out as well.

As long as the car doesn’t throw you out you’ll be fine 😂
