Expert help please

Recommended Posts

OK guys, we've all been spending a lot of time with the detailing products on our pride and joy during lockdown. I too have been cleaning away and now it's time to tackle the convertible top on my three year old Fiat 500C.

As you can see it's blue but what you can't see is that the jet wash has left streaky marks, especially where the UV has faded the colour slightly.

So please recommend a treatment for the roof that will restore it to as new :)

Many thanks in anticipation of your advice

Give it a deep clean with something something like AF Ragtop Cleaner or APC and a stiff brush - rinse thoroughly and repeat until you’re happy that it’s clean.

Then protect with A303 or Gyeon FabricCoat for awesomeness.

That looks awesome! What is it exactly please?

If you mean the red one in my sig then it's an Abarth 695 Biposto Rosso Officine which I've just sold ... but if you mean the (blue) one with the roof I've just treated it's a Fiat 500 Riva as in the picture below.

Yep absolutely, it'd be fine to protect mohair too.

Might try some on my mohair jumpers :D

I don't even want to know what you get up to, to require waterproof jumpers... ;)

Don’t lie, of course you do, that’s why you asked for pics.
