advice on style

I have renewed my y pipe and have high flow cats, what would be the best half exhaust system to get, do not need it to be noisy, loud enough at present would like it to be quieter,

OEM if you want quieter, surely?

As Ekona said really, if you are running OEM from the y pipe back it aint going to get quieter with any after market kit I wouldn't think.

If you need it quieter get someone to put extra resonators on the system , that should turn it down a bit.

Same for if your y pipe back is after market.

I think Daisyduke has just installed a Scorpion cat back system with rolled OEM style tips.

She said it was a very quiet system almost identical to the OEM in loudness!

invida gemini is one of the quietest , however whatever you put on over stock WILL be louder

Just had mine fitted the gemini with a HFC. I would say it is probably the best combination you can find

Anyway. New scorpion is quiet. Little raspy compared to the toyosport I had.

 

Got some 2nd hand HFCs to put on so will see how that sounds.

My wife has a scorpion y pipe back with standard cats and y pipe. It's not too much louder than stock, but when she opens her up it does have a nice noise. It's actually very nice indeed.
