Darkside Posted February 25, 2018 Posted February 25, 2018 Spent my Sunday afternoon in the workshop working on my centre console. As everyone knows, the oem finish deteriorates quite quickly even if you hardly touch it! Anyway, mine was in real need of some tlc and after much delberation, decided on an Alcantara suede finish. Although very labour intensive, patience being the key word here, I managed to cover the entire thing and although not installed yet, thought I would show you guys and gals where i was up to and wanted to know what you think? 1 Quote
Flashback Posted February 25, 2018 Posted February 25, 2018 I think it looks great and a very worthwhile use of a Sunday afternoon. 1 Quote

Stutopia Posted March 8, 2018 Posted March 8, 2018 One of the few mod regrets I had on the selling the Zed was that I never did this, it looks superb. Nice job. 1 Quote
Fervidia Posted March 9, 2018 Posted March 9, 2018 When I first saw "suede" I cringed a little, but seeing the finished job in the car, it actually looks pretty swish and smart, I like it! 1 Quote

mattross1313 Posted March 26, 2018 Posted March 26, 2018 This is REALLY nice mate, great work. It really improves the interior, gives it a little bit of an exotic feel. 1 Quote

Mine is in a right mess and while I'm not a fan of alcantara, you've done a top job, may have to do a leather copy of your work. 1 Quote
