Strange ‘Twanging’ Sound

I pulled up to a stop just outside the petrol station and then hard locked right to turn in, as I did, I heard this loud ‘twang’ like a metallic pinging Sound. I thought ‘WTF’. last for a second but car seems fine. Then the other day, I turned left from a hill start and heard this metallic rattle, almost like the sound a screwdriver would make when it’s fully turned ... that ratchet clicking. 

 

The car car has had two new suspension arms last year. 

 

Any ideas what what might be going on?

Coil spring twang more than likely.

Not sure how the Z setup is, but possible bearing failure in the top mount?

There is no bearing in the top mount as it is a solid sleeved bushing.

i would have said a broken coil spring, but i don't think the zed front springs is under the same rotational forces as a "macpherson strut" equipped car

Jack it up and move stuff around see what looks loose/twanging etc?
