G1en Posted March 26, 2023 Author Posted March 26, 2023 And Yesterdays wet Cadwell park Sprint. 3 Quote
Stutopia Posted March 26, 2023 Posted March 26, 2023 Good to see it wasn't just me tiptoeing around Cadwell in mixed conditions this March It's a handful of a track when you know what you're getting in grip, but standing water makes it that bit more exciting! So jealous of your power up the hill on park straight. 1 Quote
Kieran O'Quick Posted March 27, 2023 Posted March 27, 2023 You said you didn't hit an apex on the top half... We all just assumed you were taking the wet line. That didn't look like fun out there at all I have to say. A single lap in the wet is horrible. 1 Quote
G1en Posted April 3, 2023 Author Posted April 3, 2023 Latest video from Anglesey, fantastic track but hard to master. More commitment at bend called "Church" needed and the right hander "peel" think I messed that up every time but never the less, great weekend all said and done. 7 Quote
davey_83 Posted April 4, 2023 Posted April 4, 2023 (edited) Listen to her GO, that front end!!! What a track, she looks right at home and very well done. That's what I found blissful about the 350z on track, less shifts, tones of low end torque - more WOT ✅ Edited April 4, 2023 by davey_83 1 Quote
Hansburger Posted April 5, 2023 Posted April 5, 2023 Looks great! I really love Anglesey! I drove there four years ago. Awesome track and amazing scenery. 😍 1 Quote
Kieran O'Quick Posted April 5, 2023 Posted April 5, 2023 Loving the weekly updates - well, apart from the fact that you beat my Anglesey time by a full second. You're going to be well used to the car this year. Match sharpness and all that. Expecting a PB this weekend now you're on the wider tyres? Quote
G1en Posted April 5, 2023 Author Posted April 5, 2023 I will have to beat practice day by 2 seconds to get a PB so unlikely BUT new tyres will def help as will video below: Does explain why back end felt a bit loose on the faster corners. 2 Quote
Hansburger Posted April 6, 2023 Posted April 6, 2023 Last year I got problems with my front endlinks aswell. I put lock nuts on them and now they are fine. 1 Quote

G1en Posted April 10, 2023 Author Posted April 10, 2023 Also got my new "company" car this week. Must say it might be FWD and boring but the refinement inside. so comfy and quiet and plenty of tech as standard. 1 Quote

Kieran O'Quick Posted April 11, 2023 Posted April 11, 2023 64.98 is a decent knock for April. There can't have been many people there beating you on a power-to-weight basis. Great bit of info on the tyre pressures. At least you know for the rest of the year not to be tempted to go low. Yokohama? What do they know.... Quote
G1en Posted May 28, 2023 Author Posted May 28, 2023 Latest Round of Connaught Speed Championship Yesterday at Aintree Went a little better than last year... Next weekend I will be at Coventry for the motofest festival, anyone popping along, keep an eye out and cheer me on! 2 Quote

Kieran O'Quick Posted June 5, 2023 Posted June 5, 2023 Disappointingly mature to not open the windows for the tunnel blast. 2.43 start is crazy. Best I ever did was 2.49 on really hot MPSS . Never beat that with any of the trackday tyres. Great to see a Zed so far up the leaderboard. Pretty exotic stuff ahead of you. Quote
