The scratches on the windows are a common problem, there's a few threads about it on here. Sorry to say this, but your not getting them out. Toothpaste will work on the plastic headlights but not on the glass.

ring these guys! Glass- Tech, Russ 07917 367204 or Jon 07903 198558. they use a method method developed in the USA they is supposed to leave distortion free results.

correct they are in Doncaster! they run two businesses, they started out with the glass repairs first. Don't know what area they will cover.

Use it with water and a high speed drill (not cordless too slow) you will need a buffing wheel like this:

Mask the side of your car and surrounding panels, plastics etc, it gets everywhere.

 

Go easy at it, and work a bigger area than the scratch. This will cut into the glass and cause a ripple if you focus too small.

You can take more off but ya can't put it back ;)

EDIT:

 

Noticed you have a Roadster, do not get the Rouge on the roof skin ! It will wash off paint but not fabrics or plastics.

Cerium oxide is the stuff supplied in the eBay glass polishing kits

Rouge has a little more cut to it than Cerium, the video was more a demo of the technique as its the same process.
