The limiter should be hit as regularly as you can, as long as the engine is nice and warm you won't do any harm at all. Indeed, it'll help burn off a lot of the crap that can build up, so it's actually a very beneficial thing to explore the upper rev ranges frequently!

Yeah, a lot of people seem to be saying 100-110 for 3rd (HR)

Then...

Here is what i found, based on '06 manual- 26.7inch tyre diameter

Here is the calculator Gear Ratio Speed Calculator

1st gear ratio - 3.794 - 41mph / 66kph

2nd - 2.324 - 68mph / 108kph

3rd - 1.624 - 97mph / 155kph

4th - 1.271- 124mph / 198kph

5th - 1.00 - 157mph/ 251kph

6th - 0.794 -198mph / 317kph

Final drive 3.538

there are 3 different red lines depending on which version you have, so of course she will redline at different speeds in 3rd!

eg my HR red lines at 70mph in 2nd, though that's to be taken with the pinch of salt that is indicated speed vs actual speed

A 350z wont do a ton in third, its barely over the speed limit.

Have you got an original DE? Mine most certainly will do 100+ in third...

Had two de, s, one jdm, one uk and neither would do over 100 in third, 85 ish.

End of the day, you're happy.

Just be careful mate. Crappy road conditions with the cold and damp. Don't want your enjoyment coming to a sticky end. And I don't mean in the massage parlour sense :)
