Nice move on the new y pipe, I'd definitely look to do the same if I had one.

Yeah it's definitely a nice Y pipe. It just needed a little work. Haha.

But I've got an almost new Injen SES dual laying around. I think I'm going to fit that one and go back to dual.

We had some fun at the track last week! It was a charity event for children with all kinds of heart diseases. Lot's of smiling children, good fun and great weather. Luckily the Z did well after all the things we did last year. Last time with the ISR single, but it sounds pretty good to be honest. 😎

And I love the Toyo R888R tyres. It makes such a big difference to normal road tyres.

Mate you car shines against all those imo 👍 looks like a fantastic day.

Underside goals!!

Thanks! I must admit Solar Orange really looks good when the sun is shining. I hated the colour when I bought the car over four years ago. But I love the colour more and more everyday. Hahah.

Installed the Injen SES dual exhaust last weekend. 😛😛 Yup! It's nice to have two exits again and hell yeah I like the titanium look. But sound wise it's a bit dissapointing compaired to the ISR single or the Exoticspeed I had before. Hahah. But we can always sell it and buy something else. For now it's fine. 😎🤣

And some other parts for the Frankenstein VQ37HR engine! Finally the K1 rods came in. Now it's only waiting for the pistons to arrive and the building continues.

Some problems along the way! Got a broken SPL endlink because of over torquing. So temporary got OEM ones on the Z. New parts arrived today. B)

Update on the Frankenstein engine! It's on it's way to the builder. Now some measurement and then time for overbore. 💪 Finally!

Last saturday som fun with the Z! We where at Circuit Meppen in Germany. Just a little track and it looks like it's made for karting, but it was so much fun. Really fall in love again with my Z. Just the way it handles and it even drifts great! The Toyo semislicks give so much confident in the dray and they really stood well on a wet track. Got to overtake a lot of "faster" cars in the wet. So grippy it still was.

The Toyo R888R tires had to work hard. Hahah.

My other hobby.... 😍

Ohh and it sounds so good at the moment! Never heard it roar this hard with the Injen CAI. And the Injen exhaust has a nice tone too.

Finally it was time to get all the old bushes en knuckles replace by some SPL and Hardrace hardware. Really pleased by the result! Except for one compression arm all the rest just came lose. No real rust found. 😍

New Hardrace bushes and new rear wheel bearings.

Ready for a testdrive. Feels great! All the weird suspension noises are gone and it feels like new!

I only need to order some more nuts and bolts to replace in the undercarriage and it will be finished for now.

Absolutely love all you updates!! She must drive so tight now too. Very very clean under there also which I can appreciate.

That O/S banana arm put up a good fight!!!

Thanks! The undercarriage needs some more TLC. But that will come in the next few weeks. 😁

Yeah the arm was a pain in the ass. I knew that before, so I already had a second one.

Driving is really great now. No noises or whatsoever from the suspension anymore.

Sold the Injen exhaust. Time for something new... Bought the newest ISR Performance exhaust; the ST Series. It's really new, just ordered it and will see if I like it.

Looks great combined with the long tube headers.

Also bought their newest 370Z Y-pipe. It's slightly bigger then the 350Z one. 2.75 inch into 3 inch.

And the last nuts and bolts to finish the undercarriage. B)

It's crazy as that's probably knocking on for 12ft of exhaust system. Id say this will be LOUD! Gorgeous looking headers and should be easier to fit than equal length ones.

I would look to maybe heat wrap the y pipe to help keep the heat in and away from the transmission tunnel. Added bonus of speeding up the exhaust gases as she's a thick one!!

The headers will get a ceramic coating and they are for the new VQ37 engine.

Good one. But I think the Y-pipe is a temporary solution. With the new engine and exhaust setup I think I will need some dempers. So maybe the Y-pipe with V-band and catalytic converter or something.
