coldel Posted January 8, 2017 Posted January 8, 2017 I think I would do it once, as you say on a dream car, but not time and again car after car, especially when you have just lost a shed load on the car that came before it. Quote
Ekona Posted January 8, 2017 Posted January 8, 2017 Why do you think I bought a snotter of a BMW 1 Quote

coldel Posted January 22, 2017 Posted January 22, 2017 I remember watching a programme 'insert' of a guy talking about how you can buy a lump of gold, £10k for a bit about the size of an iPhone. Reckoned you would make about £10 a year though! Quote

And there's no Vat on sovereigns in U.K. (Obviously) Quote
Strudul Posted January 26, 2017 Posted January 26, 2017 Missed out on the TSB current account cashback cos I've had my accounts for years, but finally got the Platinum credit card sorted with 1% cashback on the first £500 (so basically £5 a month). Quote
ATTAK Z Posted February 12, 2017 Author Posted February 12, 2017 Tesco seem to have been too successful in attracting new customers to their 3% interest account ... "The feedback for our current account guarantee from our customers has been brilliant. We are also delighted by the unprecedented demand from new customers applying to take out accounts with us. As a temporary result of this demand, and due to our commitment to best serve our existing customers, we have made the decision to pause accepting new applications for our current account. In the coming weeks we will let customers know when they can apply again for the Tesco Bank Current Account." Quote
TT350 Posted February 12, 2017 Posted February 12, 2017 What about off shore accounts? The Ukraine has an interest rate of 30% Quote
Strudul Posted February 12, 2017 Posted February 12, 2017 Was a post earlier about Russian ones. Did some research and it basically said after conversion fees and potential fluctuations in the economy it's not worth it. 1 Quote

Strudul Posted April 13, 2017 Posted April 13, 2017 Tesco still limited to 2 accounts? The drop to TSB / Lloyds / BoS rates sucks Quote
Strudul Posted April 13, 2017 Posted April 13, 2017 Tesco account seems to require 3 direct debits now as well, which is ridiculous... Guessing that doesn't apply to previous customers though. Quote
