They have a ton of more features than branded ones plus sound is exactly they same quality. Music is a necessity!! Stick all the tunes on an iPod or similar and do the Bose hack. That or get a HU without CD/DVD drive, keeps the cabin tidy and with a seperate portable music device, the storage should be able to hold all your tunes, hence why I still have my old iPhone 3 on car jukebox duty. You still have the zed then!? Yup im thinking no cd/dvd, just car play, the Alpine caught my eye as its developed by Alpine and Apple, love the Apple interface so sorta made sense. Touch screens look so much better, i remember yours and its only now that im getting round to doing it!! Well a local Company near me are as their going to build me a custom sub box behind the drivers seat and new tweeter mounts. I just went for the alpine as it just looks a bit better i think plus was designed by apple. but theyre both good bits of kit.
