big_fraz_86 Posted August 23, 2016 Posted August 23, 2016 Welcomes along, I've just joined after changing from an STI to 350z 1 Quote
Marv Posted August 23, 2016 Author Posted August 23, 2016 (edited) Thanks for the warm welcome The Z handles very differently to the Subaru but it's good to get back into a RWD car and being non-turbo no lag whatsoever, loving it Edited August 23, 2016 by Marv Quote

Coffin dodger Posted August 24, 2016 Posted August 24, 2016 Welcome, I am lucky enough own both a 350Z & a spec c Subaru, but its amazing how many 350Z owners used to own Subaru's. Quote
Marv Posted August 25, 2016 Author Posted August 25, 2016 I drove Subarus for some 15 years and loved the marque but 15 years of anything and it's time for a change!! lol I had a Spec C as well as a 22B which I wish I had kept having seen what they now go for! 2 Quote
GMballistic Posted August 25, 2016 Posted August 25, 2016 Had a GC8 JDM classic Impreza myself Marv back some years ago now. It wasn't the best experience but that's another story (didn't crash it btw if that's what you were thinking ). Still I'm definitely partial to a Scooby especially the classics. Were you on Scoobynet then? I was, same name as here. Nice to have a change though. 2 Quote
StevoD Posted August 25, 2016 Posted August 25, 2016 everyone i know who has a subaru ends up back in a subaru 1 Quote
350jimbobz Posted August 26, 2016 Posted August 26, 2016 Not usually a fan of most scoobys mainly the type of driver they attract around my area and the distasteful mods but you could say that about any car. But that 22b is gorgeous Quote
Marv Posted August 28, 2016 Author Posted August 28, 2016 Christ, you sold the 22b I certainly wish I hadn't - I made a bit on it but nowhere near what could have got for it now! Hindsight is a beautiful thing I guess 1 Quote
ChrisB Posted August 28, 2016 Posted August 28, 2016 Soft spot for Subarus here too. I had a MY97 Twin Turbo Legacy GT (aka Lunacy) for about 10 years, which looked very similar to your blue one - except longer of course. Great to see a Subaru in it's natural habitat - snow 2 Quote
