Cheap Z or scam?

just from that i'd say it could be legit, albeit with a low price. my first flag of a scam would be any suggestion of sending money anywhere without first viewing a car.

and also, a lot of people obscure reg numbers in adverts, my first question if I was a potential buyer would be to ask for the reg number, so I can check MOT history. if they don't want to give it out, i'd go no further.

it was posted 29 days ago - if it was a scam it would have been reported by now hopefully.

maybe the owner works in the armed forces and is posted elsewhere?

nothing seems odd to me.

ALSO: cars in northern Ireland/scotland are generally cheaper too.

Not all cars, Zeds and big engine petroleum, yes, but your run of the mill 5 door rep mobile or family car is cheaper on the mainland :)
