The others would have had to cheat to compete with VW rightly or wrongly, I just don't think it would have been on the same scale as Renault don't sell in America for example.

Not really, VW would just be making more profit on each car as they weren't shelling out as much for expensive cat materials.

its irrelevant ........... they probably are to some aspect or other ......... just use the figures (if you really want to) to compare.........I mean who actually achieves the stated manu figures :shrug:

Combined 24mpg claimed for the 350's... I'm regularly on 20-22 which is not bad... oh btw... what kinda air bags do we have? :lol:

If they have all cheated it shows that the emissions targets set my the eu are totally unachieveable. Modern diesels are so packed with emissions stuff j don't think I'd buy a used one without a warranty

15,000 vehicles each taking half a day is 7500 days or 20.5 YEARS of work!

 

Thats going to cost a fortune !
