Could have been worse Dave, 11 weeks in the winter My eldest son works for the Columbus Brick Company in Mississippi, he's an Electrical Engineer, and they have been badly affected by the credit downturn. Having said that, they have picked up lately & are looking to switch some kilns back on in their old plant, which has been shut down for about 3 months. He's just rang to let me know that the aeroplane transporting the space shuttle has just landed at their little airport, which they were able to see it coming in from their works car park

This hot weather makes you go all ga ga. That & smelling all that liniment must have messed with your head

OMG, that must have been terrifying for her. I suppose instinct takes over at a time like that because she could have been hurt really badly. It's that long ago I can't remember. Was the only birthday that messed with my head. At that time footballers were finished in their early thirties & I felt that was happening to me, my best sports years were coming to an end. You can either do something to make it memorable, or treat it just like any other so that the age side of it doesn't have any significance. What ever you decide I hope you really enjoy the day.
