Hi & to the forum. I had the intention of test driving both cars back in 04. Went for a test drive in the Zed, 5 days later went back & ordered my Sunset. Never got round to having the other test drive.

Did you have to go on the track day thingy to get offered this? Don't know Liam. All I know was the reception said you could go and book this at one of the tables. You might be able to use this to get a test weekend from a dealer

You could book a 370z test drive for the whole weekend, provided in your own area. I wonder if anybody took up the offer.

What a great experience & enjoyable day Only got 83% but was improving every lap & taking good racing lines (apparently). Left hand drive was no problem but initially getting used to the paddles was. I managed to wash the windscreen, indicate left & blow the horn Having driven the 7 speed manual on the road & then having a good look round, I can say it didn't make me want to buy one. The sync rev was very good, as were the seats, but the rest of it left me cold. By the way, the Mods(especially Chesterfield) might like to ask Colin who beat him by 1% & therefore won our group. I also got driven by the winner on the road in the 370z, interesting.

Leaving any switches in the on position means they will draw juice as soon as you turn the ignition on. Motors on start up normally draw a lot more juice than normal. The bluetooth adaptor is ok to leave all the time.

What caused you to have a rant like this? As you already know everybody's budget is different & entirely up to them how they want to spend it. Much in the way as you would mod your car a certain way whether it was to other's taste. Only problem I see is if the replica does not what it says on the tin, i.e if body kit will not fit properly. Your arguement that cheap replica sellers put companies that sell "good" replicas out of business is totally flawed. If that were the case then why don't you advocate everybody buying the genuine OEM parts? Anyway you have had the chance to air your views whether everybody agrees, so onwards & upwards.
