they did say in spa that it couldnt be reversed tho i think that is only applicable to the driver, if the whole team are disqualified from the race thats another story, ie kovalinen would have been disqualified in this instance even though he did nothing wrong, had he finished the race... it would seem that, trulli went off the track under yellows, hamilton passed him (tv camera didnt see this) then trulli thought hamilton had a problem or was letting him overtake so trulli overtook hamilton (still under yellows), from what ive read it would appear as though mclaren complained about trulli overtaking (resulting in trulli getting the 25sec penalty) yet hamilton did actually over the radio state that he was letting him overtake. does that make sense?

apart from wales id say this was the best event i attended last year (and i went to quite a few), donnington was good but this was the highlight for me

i just brought a heat gun having some issues removing that annoying black gunk attached to the chassis, better than the mrs hair dryer tho!

i dont have a cup holder tho i think i know which panel you mean, i had a right game with that myself, there is a screw behind what i n my car looks like something to hold change, that was the 3rd i had to remove along with the clips to get the panel out.

i really enjoyed my k1 when i had it (about 3 months), the noise is excellent and gets better once its been coked up a bit the bungs sound awesome as well im sure youll like it

brakes and suspension vastly improve laptimes in the zed, made an incredible difference to mine, the zed's chassis is a great layout (although heavy) but it is let down by the standard suspension, get it lowered/stiffened - better brakes, even if just pads, and if it comes with the bridgestones get them off!

+1 to all that, also worth checking oil level, and dont stay out too long, make sure you do a cool down lap after youve hooned it otherwise you will cook the brakes, ive used moris before for insurance but as Ekona said the figures are about right, also be aware that there is never any blame on a trackday, imo it isnt you driving like a tit you have to worry about, its others, if someone else hits you then no blame is put on them, its up to you to sort it.... (ive always took insurance before but will consider not doing next time) oh, and make sure you have fun cc is great

traction control off, spin the wheels in the glue stuff at the start, youll see what i mean, and make sure your windows closed, dont worry about hitting it right on the green light (first time) because it makes no difference to your end result, good luck an enjoy it, let the zed cool down between runs and make sure oil etc is spot on
