  1. Are there barcodes on the tickets? If so, what's the point in making them one shot passes?!
  2. It can, or it can be 0%. Totally depends on insurer. If they're no good, just go elsewhere.
  3. You have to tell them, it's a material fact. My crash back in '13 adds nothing to my premium.
  4. Indeed, although it won't stop her claiming a few weeks down the line regardless. Which, in fairness, she's completely entitled to do since it was Bradders' fault I'd still tell your insurer. That's exactly what you pay them for, and if there's no claim from her then you're very unlikely to see any kind of noticeable increase in premium because of it.
  5. Car is in the garage, it's a bit of a trek for me to walk 12 miles just to take a photo
  6. CCTV was aiming the wrong way, and zero witnesses as it's not a popular station. One of those things, I'm not really that bothered any more, I shall make a more positive use of my energy rather than waste is on a blind lorry driver
  7. Basically it's this, or a 458 Speciale. As much as I love the 458, even I might take the 675 over that. Although not in silver
  8. Glad you're okay matey, that's the main thing. As a minimum you should always get the driver name and the car reg. Any photos? Did they get your details? Best (and correct) thing to do is to ring your insurer and give them the details, let them deal with it. Depending on the damage they've got, which you may not be able to see fully, it's very likely it'll cost you far less in the long run to go via insurance, plus if they start claiming whiplash then you're covered. You know I've just been there with a crash, honest mate it's really just easier to let them handle it even if you don't claim for your own repairs.
  9. Basically they're claiming 50/50, pretty much as I expected them too. Leaves me with little choice but to repair out of my own pocket.
  10. Car is now at the garage awaiting repairs, looks like it's coming out of my pocket. Sucks. Anyways though, onwards and upwards! I've been out today to GSM Motorsport near Nottingham to test out about 60 odd seats with the other half, to find something we can both fit comfortably into. Fortunately it seems that my preferred choice actually works for both of us, so as soon as I have a date on the car coming back I'm going to be ordering a pair of Recaro Pole Positions with leather outer and suede inner for the car. Comfy times! I've also started making tentative enquiries into the V10 swap. It's either going to be an absolute PITA (which means the SC route will be easier) or incredibly straight forward (which means it could be a serious goer).
  11. Maybe more a question for Abbey, but how does the Ecutek differ? What extra options does it give? I'm guessing at valve overlap and things like that, just interested really.
  12. You did read the bit about it being just my opinion, right? Or did your desire to try and be humerous mean that your eyes scanned over that crucial post? Honestly, if you're going to pick a fight then at least make sure you bring all the info to the table. Or at least actually be funny.
  13. Don't forget it's at Silverstone this weekend, best racing in the world to be found at WEC races
  14. Chill guys, every year Japfest make a pigs ear of things, but it all gets sorted in the end.
  15. Pretty sure a set of wheels from Fred Flintsotone's car are lighter than the Touring wheels
  16. Yeah, I'm not spunking out for one of those either.
  17. Don't do it. Silly prices, and this is gen1 of the tech with zero killer apps. And that comes from someone who is desperate for a new gadget! Even I can't justify that kind of cost.
  18. You're adding weight to the worst possible place, so there will be *some* negativity. There will be resistance to turn, slower acceleration and longer braking distances. That said, the differences are negligible to most. Some will notice it and hate it, some accept it because the car looks better, most don't notice that much if at all. I run spacers on my car, however when I changed wheels I made sure they were lighter so that even with the spacers I've lost weight on each corner. If you're not changing wheels then expect the car to feel a bit different, but tbh a sharper geo can sort that out.
