Satnav by far. That said, on my old VXR220 the speedo was exact with the satnav, so Vauxhall/Lotus obviously have a lot of faith in their faux-Stack dash.

Look at your speedo. If she was doing 31 then her speedo wouldve been reading about 34-35, which you can easily see. I do agree that's a bit harsh though, camera or plod? And it's only four years, not five.

Every track day is 3/4 rpm at 45deg from exhaust, so for the Zed it's 4500rpm and held until they get a sensible reading.

Whilst I can appreciate the need for sanctions as well as the need to not publicly name and shame, I do think it would be a good idea to give details of just what driving over-exuberance gave cause to give the individual bans in place. I've not seen the driver briefing sheet I admit, and this may well be covered in that detail, but certainly to give these details would allow people to see exactly how little you have to go past the line before action is taken. For example, does a doughnut in a car park give the month ban but going broadside out of a corner give the week? I have no idea of the details, nor do I wish to seem as if I'm criticising the team's decision on this, I'm only looking on a viewpoint of clarity.

All I know is that I had the same issue with my Fidanza one, exactly the same symptoms and after a bit of digging that was the solution. I had a garage fit mine so that's why the exact details are a bit hazy!

Bearing in mind you'll make no extra power at all regardless of what exhaust you're running, is it really worth it? I can understand the want to get the K1 on, but there's really no need to rush it. Without bungs it is bang on the 105dB limit so you'll fail, with bungs you should be fine but do check on the drive-by as with or without bungs you're very likely to fail that.

You've fitted the flywheel in the FWD position, you need to remove it and fit it for an RWD application. You also need to press the caps lock key

Sorry, but this thread is all kinds of wrong. You were happy to pay the asking price (which wasn't an unrealistic one at that) and the previous owner was happy to sell for his price. The garage saw an opportunity and took it, and there is nothing wrong with that. He took the risk that the car wouldn't sell, and was fortunate enough to find a buyer at his price. As for the wheels, how many people on here sell their other wheels seperate from the car? Any issues with that? Slightly different, yes, but similar principle. This thread is needlessly damaging a garages innocent reputation, and that's bang out of order. It's called business, live with it.

OH SWEET JESUS THESE THINGS ARE MENTAL Best. Tyres. Ever. There is no way a car weighing 1700KGs should be able to corner like mine has done this past weekend. The Zed with the R888s on was able to corner faster and more stable than a VXR220 on A039s, which aren't exactly bad tyres in the first place (although granted not exactly the cut slicks of the Toyos). I've used them in the damp and they're perfectly acceptable, with easy as much feedback as the PS2s and with more grip than them too. I have yet to try them in proper rain, but I've driven on 048s in the past and they posed no problems at all as long as you keep a keen eye out for standing water so I don't expect much difference with these. Interestingly enough tyre roar was also remarkably reduced on the 888s compared with the PS2s, make of that what you will. The one thing I will say is that you will have to run with TCS off on these tyres in 225/40/18 and 245/40/18, but tbh any one who is capable of driving the Zed properly (i.e. doesn't have the light flashing away on the dash unexpectedly) will have no issues with that and a keen driver will soon reap the rewards. Also puts your speedo out a fair bit too, but nothing you can't compensate for. Again, I come back to the question why people spend thousands on pounds on fully adjustable suspension and ARBS and droplinks and camber adjustment and all sorts of other things when the easy and cheaper way to go quicker is to simply put better rubber on the car in the first place. You could have all the above mods on a car shod in T1-Rs/FK452s and I can guarantee you'd be slower than a stock car on R888s.

I'd care. I'd want to drive the thing every single day, and if it spent all the time in the workshop being fixed/serviced I'd soon get bored and move on. I see where you're coming from though, and realistically the majority of people who buy the car will feel the same as they'll use it rarely and pamper it instead of driving it, which is such a shame.

As long as they say 225/45/18 and 245/45/18 and are the same make, then you're fine. No need to spend extra on the XL stuff if you don't have to, but they are acceptable to put on the car.

Yup, they're fine. Those weight figures are miles over what the car needs.
