FWIW you've handled things very well and I doubt any of us could have done any better. Your Dad clearly has huge issues that he can't let go of which is a shame for him, but don't let him get you down too.

Mondeo for me, but any of the other options listed here (Passat, Octavia or a Volvo) are equally as good, just depends on what you fancy really.

It's not really a matter of taste though, is it? Anything that much larger than the text that is also moving is going to be more distracting to the eye on a page. It's like me putting in a huge picture of Kelly Brook in the middle of this post, you'd be hard pressed to read the text first

18" for me. 19" looks prettier but the extra cost of tyres and making your car handle worse isn't worth it in my eyes. They're probably not going to be that much more uncomfortable than 18"s in the real world, but it's the extra weight that would put me off.

Trouble is that all those subscriptions pay the wages of all the team here, so really there's nothing left in the pot. I mean, you wouldn't expect all of us to actually work for a living, would you?!

We're far too busy clubbing together to pay for Max's petrol, room costs, BBQ, red carpet, clothing, and someone to dress him in the morning to do anything about this. Sorry 'bout that.

*Dan like this* I fill up when the car needs fuel, and for the odd quid here or there I couldn't care less how much it costs. What I could save over a year (£50?) I'd waste in my own free time driving around trying to find the cheapest place, and my free time is more important than £50.
