Meh. That was a waste of money. This Plastix stuff has done nothing! Im not even gonna bother posting pictures. Either that means the hazing is on the inside of the lens, or its just useless... I may be taking the headlight unit apart this weekend, so i'll try it on the inside then...

Hey guys, Im just taking a look at my spare JDM headlight as im looking to revert it back to HID from the regular bulb it uses now. I've sorted the wires out, but im stumped on how the bulb holder mounts onto the headlight...? I've got no idea. There is no bulb with my unit... the bulb itself doesnt have some kind of connector on it does it? Do you secure the bulb in under the clips and plug the power pack into the back of it????

How did the mustang compare to the zed? I've always liked the look of them...

Is it condensation or is it the plastic that has clouded up? Can you see water droplets? I have a spare headlight as it clouded up so i replaced it - and its not moisture. As it happens i bought some clear plastic cleaner at lunch today to see if it'll shift it, so i'll post before and after results tonight!

Its about half a mile from my house so i can go down and ask some questions if you want? But my thoughts were the same - surely an off the shelf, 350z specific exhaust would be better as its already been tailored to the zed and tested...?

Thinking about it, i could just put some body filler over the holes and smooth it off... if it doesnt work out, it'll be behind he number plate holder anyway wont it, so no one would ever see it...

I had my screw holes filled before it was colour coded, and i bonded it to the car using silcaflex which my body shop gave me...

Sounds like a good deal for someone! I've got a drivers side unit from my JDM with a clouded up front lens (thats why i swapped it)... it has the HID ballast etc but was re-wired to allow regular bulbs - but this can be reversed im sure.... i'll swap you for your carbon exhaust shields

No, mine comes on all the time. When u turn the ignition on, do you notice it light up then? Also, if you just floor it in first on a wet road, do you wheels spin and you bounce off the rev limiter, or does the power drop and allow you to start moving...?

2 reasons - 1 - arent they only available from Big Phil? 2 - Exhaust is low down my list in terms of up-coming mods - needs lowered, tints, and paddle-shift kit, so dont want to spend much (i.e. over £100!).
