    Just another pic

Nice. The best colour. You've got some good tyre shine on there too - what product did you use?
  2. Hey all... Was bored on eBay today so bought one of these on a whim... it looks fairly interesting! http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=rBcjGyy6PJE I searched online to see if it was GPS based or if you have to hard-wire it to the speedo (which i wont be attempting if this is the case - back on eBay it'll go!) but couldnt find anything. Will post up once its arrived and fitted...
  3. Yep, mines like that. Good description too
  4. Yep. This is very easy to do. There are two wheels with teeth on. One adjusts left-to-right, and one does up and down. The higher/easier to see wheel adjusts the left-to-right. You will need a torch to see the other wheel probably. I managed to adjust mine with a flat blade screwdriver too.
  5. Welcome bud. Love GTiR's...! Always wanted one!
  6. Yep +1 to all that.... Hope you can get something sorted.
  7. Alright, give me a shout when you're next on it and i'll be able to talk you though how the wires should go when you've got it in your hand (no use now as you'll not know what im on about!) Also, got to say that mine are MUCH brighter now... Cheers Chris.
  8. Are you definitely sure they're not working? My wires were chopped and changed slightly to make the H7 bulbs work, so i just undid all of this and put it back to how it should be - then it worked perfectly... Its unlikely that both ballasts would stop working... mine have been disconnected since 2003 and they worked straight away for me this weekend.
  9. Nice work Stan! Glad you didnt have to take the rear bumper off - that is a 'mare! Strange that you did it today - yesterday i actually re-wired my headlights to be HID again as we'd discussed!! ...It was a very simple job, so if you find out if the ballasts are still attached then you could take that route too... +1 on doing it yourself too - way better than handing over money that could be spent on mods instead!
  10. Yep, windy here. I've parked my car at the end of the drive, away from the house... When i lived at my mums, a week after getting my new bmw, a roof tile blew onto it in a storm, making a huge dent on the front wing. Insurance wouldnt cover it, so ihad to fork out £250 to fix it.
  11. How strange. I've spent the whole day working on my headlights too! My JDM had the HID lights bypassed and had regular bulbs installed, so i finally bought some 8000k HID bulbs and retrofitted them. I'd replaced my drivers side headlight previously though, with a non-Hid unit, so had to take my dremmel to it to fit the ballast etc! So now my headlight colour matches the slight blue tinge to the reflector LED's. Very pleased. Also so much brighter! Yours look wicked pal... loving the strip down the side of the headlight... is it bulb or led? ...ps how many attempts did it take you to take a photo while your indicator was flashing...?
  12. I've got that TV stand!!
  13. I had major spinal surgery last year, and im not kidding, the only place my back doesnt hurt is when im in the car. Not much help for you, but try adjusting your seat slightly before each journey and see if you can find a position that works.
  14. Welcome matey.
  15. Will be a Nigerian guy reading through threads thats seen you occasionally have things for sale. So he'll want to buy something from you and send you a £10k bankers draft, and you must send him the item plus change.
  16. Drop links give a creaky sound - carl, this is defo clicky rear axles. Very tinny, almost sounds like you're driving on broken glass? I've not bothered fixing it - it causes no promlems long term, its just embarrasing - and you're looking at about £375 for a diy fix if i remember right.
  17. Want one.
  18. That looks sick!! I love it! How have you done the handles? Any problems with the mechanism on them? Get some closer pics of them up please!
  19. Oulton Park: roast350z ? Darren-B ? marzman (booked and paid for today ) Greekman, are you going to the Oulton Park day too then? Anyone else going? According to the website you get quite a bit of driving time!!
  20. +100 that sounds good to me. Although if you're staying 18" and running 40 profile, you may need to lower the car as the wheels could look a bit swamped?
  21. Welcome pal.
  22. So do we have to book anything yet SteveH or are you going to let us know when to? Cos im definitely up for this - and dont want to lose my place!
  23. Alright quality! I've been drifting round my local Tesco's every time i go shopping at night recently with the frosts we've had - so hopefully its as easy as that!! Will be going to the Oulton Park day as its only 25miles from me
  24. Hi, i could definitely be tempted by this! However, i have 3 questions: Firstly, mine is a tiptronic zed - is that going to make it significantly harder/impossible for me to enjoy a drift day properly? I can get the back end out very easily and the when in tiptronic mode i have quite a lot of control over the gears, but not 100% - i.e. it wont change down if the revs are too high... Secondly, i have non-brembo brakes - but do have Endless VN pads which are good for fast road - how much brakig is involved on a day like this, as im assuming its not gonna be as heavy as a normal track day...? Im just worried about my brakes going off etc. Any thoughts? Lastly - im guessing we'll need a helmet - can we rent these on the day? Thanks for any info - and im very interested. Chris.
  25. Nice work Sarnie. Now all i need is my own ANPR cam in my front bumper...
