Yeh i read about the super troopers 2 movie... cant wait. My fiance(!) has a friend over this weekend and she's not seen any of these films... so we've just finished the hangover, and are 15mins into Pineapple express. Superbad is next on and then we've got Without a paddle... has that been mentioned yet? Good film too.

We were slowly telling family, but one of her auntie's has posted a picture of me on Joelle's facebook wall and said 'congrats to the new couple'... so Joelle's phone is ringing off the hook now. Thanks all. Joelle's just group-txt everyone in her phone book so we're working our way through the messages. I dont feel like a grown up yet - that's why i think im embarrassed. I've told most of my family now and they're all very happy. Apparently they've all been talking for the last 3 years about why we're not engaged yet, so this will shut them up And Unbashed - i am a romantic person, but i think a proposal on a large scale is difficult to do when you've been together a while? Maybe im just a wimp

... This evening i... officially got engaged to my girlfriend! There was none of that romantic proposal rubbish though... i kind of half heartedly asked her at the weekend and she said yes, and then we went out and picked a ring earlier in the week, and it was resized for collection today. It wasnt a big expensive one - just a few hundred, but with the promise that i'll get her a propper one when she goes back to work. She likes this one though and says its fine. We've been together 6.5 years, since we were 19, but im still embarrassed to tell my family. I haven't told any of my friends yet, and probably wont. ...So its now official *Gulp*

Horrible, horrible day! Funny yesterday, i had an urgent call from one of our customers that they couldnt process credit card transactions. I logged into their system and it didnt look like there were any problems, so i phoned them back asking for more info and they said 'Well, there was a major gas explosion in the area yesterday which took out a load of telephone lines, do you think that could be related?'

Pull the pipes apart at the straight through one way valve just under the windscreen, before the Y pipe. It is the straight through valve which normally fails. Replacements from halfords for £3.

BCM is body control module... mucho $$$ if it goes wrong. Who was it that had a fault with one of those was it Chris'I? I doubt its that though as have only ever heard of 2 instances of failure... I'll hopefully be in the zed at some point tomorrow, so i'll let you know if my pod speedo works with the AC Unit disconnected.

Check the AC control unit mate... its the white box behind the AC controls (you have to remove a bit of dash to get to it... dead simple). The VSS wire (Vehicle speed sense) passes through here, in the central of the 3 connector blocks. I currently have this whole box unplugged from my car as i removed my head up display, and i drove without it yesterday and i have no speedo (or any other gauges)... could be that? Having said that, there's not much to check, and i cant see the cables coming loose, so i dont know
