  1. Mods - please can you lock this thread - item is potentially sold pending Wales.
  2. Thats fine - can you sort the courier out? I can wrap it up ready to be collected. Im working from home on Friday 27th if that helps (ready for collection).
  3. For sale is a standard Y-Pipe only from a 2006 UK zed, which has done 21k miles. Includes all 3 gaskets required. £25 collected. Will post of you want to sort out your own courier.
  4. Here i have for sale a custom car cover that was included when i bought my zed. The previous owner had it custom made. Its a perfect fit as you can see in the pics... i have a nismo spoiler and it was tailored to fit this too. To be honest i have no idea if this is an indoor or an outdoor cover though... how would i tell? The material is quite thick/good quality, and has a fleecey inner lining. Any questions please ask. £125 incl P&P. Or make me an offer, as i dont know what this is worth. Or if you have anything interesting you would like to swap for it, im all ears (Engine bay bits ideally), or it doesnt have to be car related... (tools maybe?) I will be in Wales on the Sunday if anyone would like it for then...
  5. Standard airbox + filter for sale from my 52 plate JDM zed. It's only done about 25k miles. £50 incl P&P.
  6. Tidying out the garage today, and decided to get rid of these... http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... 0742992035 http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... :MESELX:IT You can see the prices of both on eBay... if interested in either, make me an offer. Neither item will fit in a zed.
  7. I thought the purple would have been.. more purple? Looking good though - especially like the silver(?) line on the front bumper... I think i would have painted the door handles purple instead of black, but otherwise top work. VS badge on the rear looks cook too.
  8. I used to go to the Woodford airshow every year as a kid, and it was often there... i think planes were still flying over crowds then (20 years ago?), and i remember the Vulcan flying above us and then opening its bomb-bay doors, with a rusty creaking noise... was well eerie..!

  12. Welcome Stefan, nice to have you on board... Do you have any pics of the car you've bought, or any further info? Thats a big comitment importing a car... did you come to the UK to view it?
  13. I believe the goodridge ones dont have stainless steel fitments, so the HEL ones are better...
  14. Plugs dont need changing officially until 56k i think, and even then its probably not required (according to Lockwood & Greenwoods, anyway). I'd personally only dothe belt you need, plus engine oil, coolant, brake fluid, and air filter...
  15. Sounds like overkill if you ask me... whats your mileage?
  16. :pmr35lee: and welcome mate...

    New Boots!

I've got no idea... he turned up at the large KK meet in manchester last month... everyone there seemed alright, then he turned up, revving his car like a clown in an 'everybody look at me' manner.... and i was just thinking 'No thanks'...
  18. I am... I paid my dues and then only sold 1 LED kit before selling my zed... I want to get a working concept this week if possible before deciding what to do... im not sure i'l bother going down the remote control route as that just increases the cost... i might just put it on a 3 way rocker switch.
  19. Thanks Mike. Welcome Yoyo... Yes, i had an Auto for 2.5 years, and i loved it. I've now got a manual, which is also excellent but totally different. All Auto's are in fact Semi Auto, or 'Tiptronic' as its known. They have 5 gears, but you just select 'Drive' and it will use all gears from there. However if you push the gearstick to the left you go into tiptronic mode, and then pushing back or forwards on the stick changes gear for you. There is about a 1 second delay when doing this. Speed wise, the Auto's are just as quick as the manual in my opinion, although you do lose some of the fun as you cant change down and match the revs heel & toe style with the auto... If you do a lot of driving and sit in traffic jams, then the auto is an excellent option. They're very reliable too - i've only read of 1 failure in several years on here... compared to a lot og clutch/gearboxes on the manual cars... Lastly, you probably allready know this but all Auto's are imports, but there's nothing wrong with that.
  20. Just received matey - legend. Shows me exactly what i needed to know. Thats the rest of my week off sorted now...
