  2. Why? You got someone coming round to work on your car? Havnt you got a sloping drive? probaly not a great idea to use them on there as you may have a problem!! If these are a bit high and you need a bit of a ramp, Adam does the racing risers from japan and I think someone in the uk was doing them too...
  3. 2 different setups for the Race Academy... 1st one was that if your on the nissan list as a 350z owner then you will have got an invite. As a 350z owner you can try and get on a space on the 29th and 30th of Oct. I understand you just get to drive the 370z, but what a way to have a test drive!! Over 23's only Then if your not already owner there is a change to win a session at the nissan academy by taking a testdrive at a nissan garage, or you could have won a recent competition!.. Those that buy the 370z also get an instant invite to the race academy! There is then a timed lap and the best 3 (IIRC) get put forward to another day then all those people race and get the chance to win a year competing in a race championship with Nissan! Alltogether a great little setup by nissan

  7. I always had a problem with these doing them on my own... I seemed to find that pushing the button and then running to the front of the car I never seemed to get there in time before they went back in...
  8. blocked pipe as they work on pressure IIRC... May be a bumper off or at least a jack and undertray off to get to the pipes and give them a clean... Suppose that would be the first part of a fault finding process!
  9. Could work... Might look quite smart too! IIRC it may need decoding, when people have swapped the normal stocks over for replacement ones it seems they were tied in to the ECU or the BCM and needed taking to nissan to unlock..

  18. Yep, all points to a uk car! they are the fat ones! but guess you havnt seen the thin ones! All the bits are swapable to make it to a uk looking car, but it takes time and effort and money! So work on the principle of it being a uk car! Where you based? Someone close may be able to give you an opinion and if they know the zed engine they could check some of the bits above.... Does it feel good and strong off the line? Lots of power?
  19. 2 questions as the UK style plates and the washers can be fitted afterwards (they could have been trying to make it look like a UK one..) (I have a square rear plate and no washers but mine is a uk car!! ) Is it an auto? Only auto on imports. Where the a/c controls are, the 3 control dials, does it have thick turny bezel things or thin ones? (Pic of yours would help if you dont get my drift!) If its not an import then yeh it does seem that you may have an issue... It may have been chipped so the power is down low.. think final drive swaps will do the same thing too.. You may want to check the engine bay for pressure leaks!
  20. Nope I forgot!! Forgot to put the spanner in the car! I now have a special spanner and allen key that have a special home in the rear cubby! Just coming up with a v2 that dosnt need spanners or allen keys.. (that wont fly off at speed!!)
  21. You mean like this? Takes about 2 mins to remove for shows And if you have import and no specific "apature" for a plate, there are MOT rules that allow you to run a smaller plate like those found on ATB's

    Yeh thats true... you also dont know about hairline cracks or any possible internal corrosion on any wheels before you put them in for work.. heat will just expose the issue I suppose
