  1. http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/top-storie ... -21041540/ For once I have to agree with something written in the Mirror and said by Alan Suger... Its not just about buying British but buying foreign items from British companies, it may cost a few £ more but at least your hard earned is staying in the UK and keeping UK residents employed.... Its also about looking at the parent companies of the banks and insurance companies that we personnaly deal with, are they UK owned? If 50% of the population did this we would have the Credit Crisis licked in no time! It might be £20 cheaper in the longrun to buy those parts from the US but you are fuling (in a very small way!) the US economy... after all, they have probably come from the far east to the US, the guy in the US makes the Profit (he then spends it in the US), the US mail company gets their bit, and then it gets to here and no one in the UK has benifited (apart from you having a nice shiney car part! ;-) ) Dont buy cheap and buy twice... BUY BRITISH! [/img]

    Bridgestones

Grip... wear was an issue with feathering but all that should be sorted. Some people like them, some people dont.. Its all down to preference, but I do know there was a difference when I changed to falkens, but then I did change the to 19" 10.5 tyres and coilovers with uprated antiroll bars!
  3. Only been down to the very south and then to the alp, but I can recommend http://www.interhome.fr/ for finding somewhere, very competitive and everytime I have used them they have been well looked after properties... M
  4. Lucky You!!! As chris said he could be an African Prince and may want to become your sugar daddy!!! And fund the cost of the parts for the extra 300bhp!
  5. Its a user called "chuchu" on here.... Just realised that was in your post as it was a PM! Think hes german from my websearch....
  6. yep, the pics above are the complete kit... Even the carbon cover! All in all it offers great value and with the scoop in the grill, no cutting in scoop into your bumper!
  7. If you search on the US site they only show blue and chrome now...
  8. Yep, they do show it in Red in lots of places but having spoken to K&N in the UK they dont make it, maybe they did but not available now (or wasnt when I bought mine a year ago....) If they do now I will stand corrected!
  9. Yep, red is not available or it would have been on my car!
  10. This is what it looks like fitted! without the carbon top and heat shield

  12. Around £345 including material and vat for a quality job. Best to remove the bumper for a top finish. Sorry, can't help with a recommended repairer as I live in the Extreme North. Alex. Have you got somebody in Perth that does a good job, Alex? Yes mate, there is a guy just down the road from me that I use most of the time. I can put you in touch if you wish. He is a bit slow but he turns out a good job. Does the sprayer know Andy's mate? (Sorry bud, couldnt resist.... cant belive you have kept your cool for so long...... )
  13. +1 The chop does look good though. Hope the body shop can get it just right
  14. There is a tube and some wires that goes into the TB... So maybe it does Worth having a poke around though to see...
  15. My spare centre console with the flip lid is out of the car as the dual screen one is in. Let me have a look tonight and see if I can remove the back box and the lid still works...
  16. My one with a flip up lid DOES have a removable "box" its just 2 screws... Dash is easy to take apart, just remove the screws then pull forward from the top (removing the gauge link) and then see if you can see the screws... There have only been 2 types of interior although in different colours... If your prefacelift the 03 cubby with retractable lid will fit... Photos at this juncture may help!
  17. What kit have you got on the car? If you got stock, how are you intending to "cut them in"? Not a fan, but guess if they were on the car to start with we wouldnt know better!
  18. There was an article about R-34's in a past issue of max-power or fast car... If you havnt got it or seen it I will dig it out as they arnt cheap cars to keep on the road according to the owners... May be more about the high power ones though... Lovely car though, not many mods needed!
  19. You on the JD adam? Or you pitching for business early?!?!
