  3. Woke up this morning and did this... with a bit of help from my mate (he mostly inspeted my work!) then this happened and this then this happened And then when turn right All working Oh and fitted my "Hebi Bebi"
  4. Great location and setup, but you do need to buy a new camera! Lots of good DSLR's for not alot at the moment. Cause of the different and bright lights you camera will suffer trying to find the right level... There are probably some settings on there to help taking photos like that... This Fuji have a setting with a Firework symbol, thats prob your best bet
  5. A part time pole dancer at work likes to sit in mine topless ! .................................or roofless as she puts it. To quote MY350Z.COM...... Pics or I call BS!
  6. I have purchased a little tool to get the size and thread pitch of all the bolts in the engine bay and was going to look into getting some sets made up in the uk in various colours... Should be under the bonnet tomorrow so if I get time when I have done the stuff I need to, I will try and get on with it! You should only need a torque wrench for the plenum so as long as you use a a driver with the bit on the end rather than a ratchet set you will be fine, putting a glove on helps with not over tightening too as you will feel the glove "stretch" when you are using too much force!
  7. "Madwhips"..... "Stumbled"........???? Nice collection of cars on there
  8. Think its £137 with a swap for yours, and no they are not doing the TB due to the past issues, think it was to do with the butterfly's and their sensitivity!
  9. If you have copies of Office for the PC you can use them via Bootcamp (Mac's dual boot system) and its all pretty easy to use and run. Unfortunately there isnt the range of cheaper software titles like you get for a pc, like photo editing software so you end up paying a bit more (unless you can get copies ) But they are releasing some cool stuff all the time... Love the 24" imac, you may need to get a new keyboard as well as a mouse like AZ said, but also depending on your current router you may need to upgrade that too as the mac's will have the N spec cards... They will work on your current router but if you have a n router it will be faster... I think the current BT home hubs are N spec... I dont have one at the moment but I am considering for Photo Editing and "Easy" computing as I dont use it for gaming, just need to get rid of a few PC's first! Another major + is the Mac's ability to fit easily into your home AV system, get an Apple TV box and plug into any tv in the House and you can get to any music / video stored on your mac, and to extend, get a Apple Time Capsule you have a automatic wireless storage box... And all the bits look great!!
  10. One thing to try is the CG lock, it pulls you into the seat and holds you there... Also good for spirited driving in the twisties!
  11. Nice rims Shouldnt rub on 18's as you have a bit of extra, 19's on those sizes can...
  12. out of interest, has anyone that has one of these polished put a sealent or a barrier on after polishing? Or is it just a case of getting the autosol out? Verma, if your going to do it yourself, http://www.mr-fastner.com/products.asp?cat=10 do some good kits....
  13. Funny But unfortunately so close to the mark....
  14. Hmmmmm........ Nixi wants an off line conversation......
  15. Good rant Manc, enjoyed your contribution.. One word in there thought that sicks out.. Design. We are still world leaders in design in all areas, and a main area of those being in the Automotive industry. I have mates that have worked on parts and designs for some of the cars mentioned above, etiehr for design companies in the UK and abroad, we have designers working accross the world in the automotive industry.. Then there are buildings, product design etc etc etc we are still a very big player in the design world....
  16. Yeh Yeh!!! BTW have you always lived in Pock? Just wondering if you may know some of my old mates....
  17. Lol!!! Nothing wrong with sharking Nix! After all you do need to get "back in the saddle" And as Zmanalex says "Shy boys (or girls) dont get the sweeties!" !!!
  18. Yep, this has been known and has happend to a few people recently.... It seemed to be the window and seal sticking with the moisture in the air and then freezing... This also means the windows was not dropping the required 1/2 cm when door is open so be careful when closing the door.... One remedy is to rub your finger (gloved of course due to the cold!) round the top edge of the window (from the b-pillar to the mirror) quite hard and fast to generate some heat and this should defrost it... Tried to open the boot on my old mans Jag on Sunday and had the same issue, had to run the engine for about 10 mins and rev the engine to generate some zorst heat! But as chesterfield said, it could be the lock freezing as well....
  19. Just been told it will be in the Mar issue, available on about the 10th of Feb... Current read is good though! 240z with a GT-R engine in, Old to New GT-R comparrison, 370z etc etc.... Probably the best UK produced Japcentric car mags out there and lovely people to deal with!
  20. Agree there Chesterfield, our company is guilty of that.... 30 days used to be the norm and it should be again, or at least if you agree on a longer term it should be dead on that date...... But saying that, we have a contract with a VERY big company and they tried to push us for 150 days!! Its funny how their terms with the people that pay them are all on 30 days!
  21. That dosnt matter, the profit in a motherboard made in China is tiny, the point is that the larger product cost to trade price and then the trade price to retail / customer price and then the VAT on the product is all kept in the UK and keeping UK residents in Jobs... But! Alan Sugers companys are now more or less out of the manufacturing market (after he sold amstrad to sky!) and now in services, Amscreen sells advertising space on LCD's screen in train and tube stations, Viglen is now a IT service provider, Amsprop, buys and sell houses, Amsair is a small private airline..
